SAMSUNG EcoGreen F4 ST2000DL004 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: - Has been working fine for 4 months so far
- Runs faster and is cooler than my WD Green drives

Cons: - Loud spin-up sound has me kind of worried
- Negative HDD reviews on Newegg makes me paranoid and makes me buy new drives to ensure that I have multiple backups of my data

Other Thoughts: This is used as a backup drive because I use a low-capacity SSD as my main drive.

5 out of 5 eggs Nice Free Gift from Newegg!! 09/02/2011

This review is from: AMD Gift - Extreme Performance Xporter Rage 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive

Pros: Works as expected. Much faster than Sandisk Cruzer flash drives.

Cons: Retracting action of the drive reminds me of a phalllus.

Other Thoughts: My girlfriend loves retracting it though.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 6-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 125W HDT90ZFBGRBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: The processor itself is great and fast. I can render 1080p HD videos 2-3x faster than my old Athlon X2 6400+ AM2 CPU. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom also runs much smoother. According to my Kill-A-Watt, uses less power than my X2 6400+, and also the CPU runs much much cooler.

Cons: The stock heatsink clamp would not lock down. I ended up using so much force that the cheap plastic lever started to stretch. AMD has agreed to replace it for free, however, so no eggs off for them <3

Other Thoughts: I am not an elite haxor or anything but I have built at least 10 computers since 2004 so I doubt that the heatsink problem I mentioned above is my fault.
