This review is from: Fitbit Aria Wi-Fi Weight/Body Fat/BMI Digital Smart Scale - Black
Pros: If you are in the FitBit Ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. BMI, weight, are all automatically updated for you.
Cons: This scale does not last. 3 months in and it's giving errors. You buy refurbished from an unauthorized vendor, good luck getting support from Fitbit.
Other Thoughts: A device is only as good as it's longevity. This scale lasted 3 months of normal use. If you can't manually log your weight, you can spend what averages to $20/month to have this do it for you.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech 920-003377 G105 Gaming Keyboard
Cons: Arrived with 8 letter / number keys non-functional. Newegg blacks out the serial number on the item so you can't RMA it to anyone but them.
RMA process is abysmal. Customer rep has no idea how the item is sent and proceeded to ask me repeatedly if I was sure that was how the item was shipped.
Other Thoughts: Save yourself the hassle and order new.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NORCO RPC-4224 4U Rackmount Server Case with 24 Hot-Swappable SATA/SAS Drive Bays
Pros: Tons of drives, comparatively low cost. Once you get replacement parts things work as advertised.
Cons: In my prior review I spoke about issues with 4 of the 6 SAS backplanes in the chassis. I was able to get them replaced and have noticed that the 2 remaining SAS backplanes have been wired incorrectly so that the power light and activity lights are reversed. The new backplanes have everything wired correctly and work like they are supposed to. This means all _6_ backplanes had some kind of issue.
Norco does not have a cross-ship RMA process, but will refund UPS ground shipping on your order when you return the defective parts.
Other Thoughts: That I had to lay out 1/2 the value of the case to fix my issue quickly really irks me. This type of thing makes this case a poor choice for enterprise or commercial deployments.
QC can be a problem from time to time, but Norco doesn't have the resources to quickly fix problems if you have them.
I was able to meet my deadline and get this thing online because I live somewhat close to Norco. If you don't you will either be paying shipping costs or you will miss your deadline.
I would like to see Norco find a way to step up when issues arise and take care of their customers when they have these types of issues.
