Pros: - Low price
- Great picture (looks great to me, but I've only owned two other LCD monitors)
- No dead pixels
- Thin bezel and nice stable base with good gripping pads
- HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs
- 3.5mm speaker/headphone jack (outputs the HDMI audio when using an HDMI cable)
Cons: - The thing has a boot-up/ready time every time you turn it on. 10+ seconds. Extremely irritating.
- The menu is very unintuitive.
Other Thoughts: There's a magnet in the base to hold paperclips or other small metal things you might have at your deskREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GELID Solutions GC-Extreme Thermal Compound
Pros: Easy to apply, easy to clean off
Cons: Same temperatures I got when using the significantly cheaper Arctic Silver Céramique compound
Other Thoughts: Have see people say it needs to be replaced every couple of years. Hope that's not true.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RC-701 - 5.1-Channel Sound Card with PCI-Interface
Pros: I can't tell the difference between the sound this produces and the sound my much more expensive Sound Blaster card produces
Excellent price (about 10 bucks when I bought it)
Other Thoughts: Wish it had a connector for connecting front panel jack cable to (not a con, just a wish).
As of writing this, both the Rosewill website and the C-Media website have drivers for this card. I don't know which driver is better ... I just extracted them both into a single folder and let Windows pick the one it liked best.
