1 out of 5 eggs Less than 1 year warranty left 12/19/2015

This review is from: WD RE4 WD2003FYYS 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: NONE

Cons: Less than 1 year warranty left. according to Western Digital. They refuse to give the 5 year warranty update because drives were sold in Europe over 4 years ago. I was suspect something was wrong when I opened the package and the drives were not sealed but in a generic static bag with generic anti-static sticker on them. That is when I called WD and found out they are not 5 year warranty as stated in the ad.

Other Thoughts: Whish I cold give -egg review.

Pros: SSD worked fine.

Cons: The bundle is not worth it. Put my NEW SATA laptop drive I replaced in the can for backups and in just fails within about 5 min. of starting file copy. Tried new USB cable, same thing. Put a new SSD in the can, same story. I did come to a conclusion using it on USB 2.0 works. But the enclosure is made for USB 3.0. Don't figure.

Other Thoughts: Final note. I put the laptop SSD in a Vanguard 3.0 can and used the cable that came with the bundle and it works great on USB 3.0, but the cable you get does not justify the price diff over the bare drive price.
