Kingston HyperX Edition Steelseries Siberia v2 Headset
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Comfortable, I love the long cord/extension.

Cons: I wish they were louder......I have them and my system options cranked. If anyone has another way to raise the volume so that it's loud enough to block out a whining girlfriend I would be very appreciative.

CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I just think this is awesome. Honestly the best mouse I've ever owned.

Cons: I'm not a fan of the keyboard not automatically being lit, I'm also not a fan of the mouse being constantly lit. lol Not much of an issue for me though. As others have mentioned the keyboard is hell to read without the lighting.

Why you wouldn't want it lit up all of the time is beyond me.

Gateway Desktop PC DX4860-UR308 (DT.GE0AA.001

  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Shipped fast, got the opportunity to explain over the phone to my girlfriends 16 year old how to put wires in a computer.

Cons: I honestly don't know what the heck she could have done on start up. I do know that she tried plugging everything in after she started it up. I explained that she was a moron that should have just waited the 2 days it would take me to get back home. Regardless she got it started and connected to the internet. Today, apparently, she fired it up and it just attempts repair, attempts recovery reboots. I don't know who's more at fault. The computer, her being a complete n00b at anything computer anything (other then facebook and youtube) or me for thinking that she could pull it off and/or it would be an easy fix if something went wrong.

I'm nowhere near computer elite. I built mine (which after three years is having all sorts of issues of it's own) (my fault) I just never realized how computer illiterate some people could be. Although I've never worked with windows 8 either. I admit I'm a moron. I blatantly state that the girlfriends daughter is a moron (in this stuff). I really hope it's not a computer I got two days ago and find out now is discontinued.

Other Thoughts: The case looks nice. I've never seen it working other then the lights on the case and the gateway symbol on the monitor with all of the "windows attempting, windows detecting etc etc"
