Pros: Great speed - Great Utilities - Great Low Power Use - Makes no Noise and Tucks neatly away in my ITX Case - Great Bang For Buck Performance

Cons: None other than I wish we could buy the 1TB SSD's for the price of these. That day is coming soon though

Other Thoughts: Love it. Bought 2, one for i3 ASUS 13" laptop and one for ITX desktop. Great so far...

5 out of 5 eggs Since I have built 3 systems now using this board i figure I ought to write a review... 09/20/2013

This review is from: MSI Z87I LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Value - Decent Intel WiFi - Black looks nice. has overclocked the two k series I have used without issue - has recognized the 1600 @ 1.35v, 2133 @ 1.65v and the 2400 @ 1.65v memory I have used in all of the builds - bios is easy enough to use - location of the CPU, SATA, 24-Pin, USB 3.0 were good for the cases I used. (Cooler Master Elite 120)

Cons: 4-pin board power I guess. I would have liked one more fan header. CPU location is close to PCI-e and Memory so keep that in mind when thinking about aftermarket cooling

Other Thoughts: Great board at this price point. Is it the ASUS Maximus VI Impact? No... But it is half the price.
This board makes a great HTPC or mid range gaming board and none of the three I have used have had any issues so far. If that changes I will let the Newegg world know.

Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case with Mesh Front Panel and Water Cooling Support
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Smaller yet larger... Water Cooling options - ODD, HD and SSD, Drive layouts are abundant for an itx case. Much better airflow than the 120. Value. For a $50 case it is a good value.

Cons: Fit and finish and quality control have always been a issue with Cooler Master in my experience and while it usually on the inside and not the outside of the cases, it is still happening on this case. 2 of the 3 cases I ordered were just fine but one had MB stand off holes that weren't threaded. Not the end of the world but annoying none the less. All of the cases paint is of a low grade and scratches, chips and flakes more than it should.

Other Thoughts: While the dimensions of this case are slightly smaller the configuration options and room in the case are larger.
I tried 4 different water coolers Corsair H50 , Silverstone TD03, Cooler Master Eisberg 120L and a Thermaltake WATER2.0 Pro all of which fit depending on HD and SSD configuration.
Build: Intel i5 4670k - Asus Maximus VI Impact MB - Cooler Master Elite 130 Case - G Skill Trident 16GB 2400 Memory - Plextor M5M 256GB mSATA SSD - WD 2TB SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Hard Drive - AZZA 750W PLATINUM Modular Power Supply - ASUS GTX760 - BenQ Gaming 27" 1ms LCD Monitor - KINGWIN FPX-004 Multi-Function LCD Fan Controller Panel w/ Card Reader & USB 3.0 Hub
