Pros: This was one of the lower costing 2x2gb sodimm kits available at time of purchase. I've used gskill kits for desktops with no issues, so no hesitations with this purchase.
Truly plug and play. Booted right up when upgrading a macbook pro (mid-2009 model). Nice little boost in RAM for an older laptop
Cons: No cons really. Packaging is bigger than expected?
Other Thoughts: Buy with confidence!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SilverStone SUGO SG02-BF Black ABS / SECC Steel MicroATX Desktop Computer Case
Pros: Built a pretty good gaming rig out of this case. Do your research before you buy this case! It will save you heartache!
Can fit a reference 5850 in this baby!
Cons: There are a LOT of tidbits you need to take into account.
1. PSU mounts directly above the CPU cooler/area so you should think about temperatures
2. You should leave the 80mm mounted on the hard drive cage there since HD's tend to run pretty hot if you don't (Remove it if you need the extra space for a long graphics card)
3. You can fit a max of 2 3.5" HD's in there
4. Be patient when building with this case. It is pretty small
I was NOT a happy camper running a stock i5 760 in this case. I don't remember exactly but I think I was idling around 48°C (maybe higher). I had some watercooling parts and ditched the stock intel HSF for my custom watercooling. Now, it idles at 27° and maxes at 45°C on load for 20 min. How awesome is that? (And that's WITH an overclock to 3.52GHz. Pretty comfortable eh?)
Other Thoughts: i5 760 running at 3.52GHz, dominators running at 1600, 120gb vertex 2 ssd, 500gb spinpoint f3, reference 5850, gigabyt3 p55m-ud2, xfx xxx edition 650w psu
I would overclock more but not sure the mosfets can handle it. I need to buy some more enzot3ch mosfet heatsinks and finish covering all of them on my mobo (they get pretty hot to the touch)
Hope this helps
Pros: Runs at 1600 if you know how to do it (it's not something automatic) Advertised timings at 1600 work very well.
Haven't pushed this set past 1600 yet. Dominators are supposed to be highly overclockable but I'm fine with 1600 speeds since I hit a comfortable OC on my i5 760. People, your CPU most likely runs at 1333 speeds. You need to OC to use this set to its full potential.
Cons: It was $140 when I bought this set. Now it's $95?! wow, just lost a lot of money there. Guess it's time for YOU to buy this set
Other Thoughts: Running this set with a i5 760 OC'ed to 3.5 (when on turboboost/stress test).. Thinking about picking up another set to drop into my motherboard to get 8GB.READ FULL REVIEW
