This review is from: TRITTON AX180 Universal Gaming Headset, by Mad Catz
Pros: Decent sound, comfortable earpieces, adjustable and removable mic. Great for gaming, just ok for music
Cons: noticed some buzz if either game or voice is turned down, requires usb to be plugged in to power
Other Thoughts: I've had this set for nearly a year (purchased from a local retailer) and they've been a dream. I use them for a few games when i play with my friends and we can always hear eachother fine. I really like the removable mic, so i can use them as just headphones without having a mic constantly in my face. All around they feel solid to me, i've accidentally stepped on them a few times, tossed them around, had them drop off the table a bunch, and they're still like new. Picking up a second set for a friend of mine who likes how they fit.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: RAIDMAX Typhoon ATX-312WSP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply
Pros: The tool less design is nice, the side panel screws are plastic so they feel light when you tighten them, i kinda like that a little more than small metal thumb screws. comes with 2 nice sized fans and over all has a decent layout.
Cons: the fans are powered directly by the psu so no control over their speed without additional hardware or modification, the case feels overly light to me, the side panel with a fan is missing a black screw to hold the fan in, so i'm sure it'll start to rattle, and the rear fan came with the blades on the bottom of the case, the power cable for the included psu was just tossed in and not secured to a side like the screws were so they may have knocked the blades off.
Other Thoughts: not a bad purchase for what i got, its for a lower powered game pc, otherwise i'd have bought it without the psu and bought that separate. This case is for a friend of mine who just wanted something inexpensive that'll get the job done, and this will do, i was going to get the same for myself but i'm happy i decided on the Rosewill Blackbone for myself. i'm much happier with that as my main pc caseREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill Blackbone - Black Steel & Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: very nice look, air filters on the entire front will help with keeping dust out of it, cable routing is good too, great for airflow, the 2 fans that come in it are whisper quiet and the tool less design is ok for an inexpensive case.
Cons: mine came dented where one of the side panel screws go, it was packaged well so it doesnt look like it was damage from shipping, either way it's fine, doesnt affect the case really. The black paint, while nice, restricts the standoffs so i needed to tighten with a wrench.
Other Thoughts: overall the case is really nice, gives my pc a premium look, without breaking the bank, shipping was free when i bought it so thats nice, and the front of the case comes off and goes back on very easy so this case was definitely a good buy.READ FULL REVIEW
