Corsair Force Series GT 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: I bought this drive back in 2011 and it worked great for almost a year and a half.

Cons: Unfortunately my drive decided to give up today and just die. No warning or anything, I fired up my desktop and found that was no longer reading or being recongnized.

Other Thoughts: I'm waiting on Corsair to send me an RMA number and I hope my $145 wasn't wasted.

ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: good bang for the buck

Cons: -

Other Thoughts: The Asus M5A88-V EVO is an updated version of this board to support AM3+ CPUs. If you have the extra $5 I would recomend purchasing that mobo instead, more future proof if you intend to run bulldozer.

NZXT Sentry-2 5.25

3 out of 5 eggs more effort than should be needed 10/02/2011

This review is from: NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller

Pros: It looks nice and has nice features, when they work

Cons: first of all, I am using this to power three 200mm cooler master fans in my case along with two 120mm fans. The three 200mm fans all use a 4 pin with a female end. Unfortunately the 4 pin plugs on this controller are also female connectors. Why? I do not know. It is illogical to put female ends on what is considered the power source. Luckily I had spare male 4 pin connectors so after 30 minutes with wire cutters and electrical tape I was able to fix this.

Other Thoughts: It also will not allow me to adjust the power on the 200mm fans but this may be a fault of the fan.
