Pros: Thank you Newegg... Five eggs to EVGA for graphics card performance (when run in SLI). EVGA 10 year warranty. Good customer service. Tremendous performance and acceptable temperatures (when run SLI).
Cons: Buying a second card is an EXPENSIVE fix for single card temperature problem that should not exist. Cooler should have been larger. No heatsinks on vrm or memory. Poor temperatures when running single card. (See review "Runs Too Hot for Dual Fan Model" Flight simulator X-plane 9 receives no benefit from SLI. Hopefully version 10 will correct this. I do not recommend SLI or Crossfire if you are going to run a flight simulator. Highly suggest doing extensive research first.
Overall Review: Purchased a second card (one of the lifetime warranty models) that runs exactly 7 degrees cooler than first card when run separately under identical conditions. Placed new (AR) card on top and (KR) card on bottom. The (KR) card now runs cooler than the new card! Unsure if this is because of having no monitor connected to it or if having the new card controlling the slave card is what fixed the temperature problem. Found it interesting that as long as both cards are in computer as noted above temperatures are quite good even when forcing single card usage with the Nvidea control panel! Monitor is connected to top card using HDMI.
Unusable
Pros: Free gift?
Cons: Game was not sent. Instead a useless card for something called Steam was sent. Apparently this requires downloading the game over the internet. My primary internet connection is mobile broadband through Verizon limited to 3GB per month. To download this supposedly free gift would cost me more in usage fees than buying the game locally would cost. When I saw the size of it I cancelled the download.
Good Case
Pros: Good computer case. Too bad I missed the sale on it. Sigh...
Cons: Should have included 140mm fan for top instead of 120mm. Front fan only has 2 pin connection so no RPM readout on my fan controller. Fans are quiet but not very powerful.
Overall Review: Would not hesitate buying from Rosewill in the future.
Pretty good mainboard
Pros: UEFI Bios. Sata 3 at 6Gb/s. Digi-plus VRM. Unlocked. SLI. USB 3 with 2 Rear and 2 Front ports (Removed plug from provided bracket and modded 3 1/2 drive bay to fit) Onboard graphics available without sacrificing overclock ability.
Cons: No bridge chip for third PCI Express 2.0 X4 slot. ASUS really missed the boat here. To use the X4 slot at X4 requires disabling the USB Header, eSata port, and the PCI Express X1 slots.
Overall Review: Wanted the P8Z68-V Deluxe. Purchased this board since the Deluxe does not have the onboard graphics ports.
Excellent
Pros: Great power supply. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Modular connections would have been appreciated.
Excellent
Pros: Great processor. Teamed it up with CM Hyper 212 Plus. Would definitely recommend this product.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Thank you to Newegg for the excellent packing of all items for my new computer. Well done!
