This review is from: ORICO USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Multi-Card Reader for SD/SDHC/SDXC/MS/CF/TF Cards
Pros: None, other than Newegg has discontinued selling it.
Gave it one egg since 0 to -100 isn't accepted.
Cons: Not sure if this first problem is related to Win 7 or MS in general. Unit drivers were easy to install, up and running in no time. Buggy, hit or miss when needed, so frequently ran a check on updated drivers. MS constantly wanted to install another brand name's driver. At one point it slipped past me and installed. Did no good, and I switched back to recommended driver.
Within the first 3 months, it began corrupting anything it touched. Customer service via email was hopeless, 40 bucks wasn't worth more of my time teaching phonics on the phone to get this piece of dooky replaced by a shinier one, best case scenario.
Seen it was discontinued, but still feels good to vent ;)
Other Thoughts: corrupted irreplaceable GoPro time laps stills. Wasn't my first Orico product, it will quickly forgotten along with the brand.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: JBL J56BT Bluetooth On-Ear Headphone - Black
Pros: Good sound quality, heavy ear cups useful in high noise environments. Painless pairing.
Cons: highest volume level is too low, initial comfortable feel turns to burdensome after a couple hours, like most ear phones, function buttons are poorly placed and easy to inadvertently press, I owned for about 4 months using an average of 2-4 hours a week before they died. First sign was a very short battery cycle followed by complete blackout.
Other Thoughts: Waiting on JBL 2nd stage of manufactures RMA process, where they ask you to submit all the info you submitted in the initial contact.... gotta love it. I paid too much -fiftysix- and change. Now at 30 something I see. If these lasted a good solid year, thirty bucks would be worth it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Patriot S•Mini 64GB USB3.0 Flash Drive Model PSF64GSMUSB
Cons: Purchased 2 64GB on sale and tucked away until I needed one a couple weeks ago. It gave me a little trouble almost immediately so I began backing it up to whatever PC HDD I happened to be working on. Good thing too, when it did die I'd have lost 100's of hours of work without the backups. Anyone without the foresight or experience to notice the little hiccups early on, would have lost up to 60 gigs. Something like that could have cost me my job.....
Other Thoughts: Still have another, not sure if I will even dare to use it, certainly will not put anything important on it. Since I didn't use these right away, Newegg RMA is not an option. Manufacture's site is my next stop.READ FULL REVIEW
