Pros: It's compatible with DD-WRT, which is what I flashed on it to solve my problems. I have it set up as a wireless switch/AP, using a box running pfsense to be the firewall/router.
Cons: Stock firmware is junky. as soon as I flashed from stock to dd-wrt all of my issues went away.
The stock firmware kept reloading the page in the browser so I had to be extremely quick in updating the settings. Also, it kept dropping the signal every so often. Turning it off and on multiple times a day is not a good workaround. Flashing to DD-WRT solved that issue. The thing is rock solid now.
Pros: Faster than an HDD, amazing performance for the price. Fit perfectly into an early 2009 model Macbook. runs OSX Mavericks very nicely
Cons: Haven't run across any problems yet, so no cons.
Other Thoughts: Looking back, I probably should have bought another couple for other machines I have.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: runs everything i've thrown at it so far in near highest settings. I've been able to max out settings for Dragon Age, L4D2, WoW, LoL, SC2, and tetris (I have not yet tried Crysis, although i think it'll handle it). Since this is more of an egg shape than a brick shape, it allows for more air flow. this thing actually helped lower my cpu temp by 3 degrees celcius than my previous brick shaped GPU. very quiet.
the audio out on the HDMI works as advertised.... perfectly.
Also, uses very little power for the performance you get.
Cons: Their Catalyst Control Center software is a bit shoddy IMO. drivers seem stable enough.
Other Thoughts: I bought this when my previous video card failed on me. I had a 500W power supply, and In order to get the performance from the cards I wanted I'd have to buy a new power supply as well. I did not want to do this so I Went with the highest performance card that my Power Supply would give me. This 5770 uses less power than my previous card and gives me higher performance than I could have expected. I Highly recommend this 5770 to anyone who is on a Power or $$ budgetREAD FULL REVIEW
