Pros: Fit in the computer, cheapest available on the Newegg site.
Cons: DOA - computer wouldn't even start up the BIOS, just beeped repeatedly at me, eventually got it to shut down by holding power button. Atempted to reinstall the memory multiple times; huge pain, lots of screws to take out and put in. Should've trusted other reviews of this product, as multiple people said it was iffy product.
"Tech support" was literally a joke - got the number from the Mushkin website, as it was nowhere on the actual product - and seriously GOT A VOICEMAIL. Yes, Muskin "tech support" IS A VOICEMAIL BOX, that apparently no one checks. My message was "just wanted to give you a chance to fix this product before I return it and never buy from you again," left my name and number, and no one called me. Unbelievably frustrating.
Other Thoughts: Mushkin tech support is embarrassing, however, Newegg is excellent - sent them an e-mail request for my RMA to return the product and got it within a day. Got my money back fast too. At least I can trust Newegg.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It works great, I ran my xbox, desktop, and other computers through it all at the same time in my apartment. My roommate and I even played xbox on the same connection at the same time and had very little trouble. This is a great price and it works great.
Cons: Set up is confusing. I have used two of these, setting one up during my networking internship and then buying another for my apartment. The only time I had connection problems was when my roommate decided to download several HUGE files at the same time, which didn't kill the connection, but often slowed it down noticeably.
Other Thoughts: I lived in a relatively large steel-frame apartment building with 3 floors and I had access to the connection from nearly anywhere in the building, even limited distance outside. This is a GREAT price and there's definitely a good reason it's currently the highest-rated router on newegg.READ FULL REVIEW
