HIS IceQ X Turbo Radeon HD 6950 DirectX 11 H695QNT2G2M 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Pros: - Quiet
- Hasn't overheated yet, so must have good cooling!
- Renders Skyrim beautifully at Ultra settings

Cons: - It was a tad expensive
- May not be enough for super intensive games, like a Sims house full of stuff and people.

Other Thoughts: I bought this video card specifically for Skyrim last year. Since that time it has worked wonders on my computer, especially for it only being mid-grade. I don't know a lot about video cards, clocking, and tracking heat--my case isn't even optimized for cooling--however, this card has been a trooper. It has been almost a year now and is still running almost everything smoothly at Ultra settings. The only problem I ever have is while playing the Sims and the house if full of stuff and very busy with people. There is a bit of lag at that point. I see this card has been discontinued and I wonder why. I haven't kept up at all with the market as I have had no need. :) I'm guessing two of these wonders in a computer would be over the top, but I neither need nor know how to do such a thing. Regardless, highly recommended for a newbie!
