Great Chromebook
Pros: A solid, well-built Chromebook with a good feature set. I've had this Chromebook about 3 weeks. I'm quite familiar with Chrome OS, as this is my 2nd personal Chromebook and I've used Chrome OS devices (Chromebook and Chromebox) for over a year. I have hands-on experience with the Samsung ARM Chromebook and the Samsung 5 550. I like the VGA out for presentations. I've used HDMI out and it works well. I've not used the Ethernet port but like knowing it's available. Generally, I think that the Intel Chromebooks with 2GB do a better job of memory management than the ARM Chromebook. I believe that there are more memory leaks in the ARM build. Make sure you know what a Chromebook is and what it is not before you buy one, but if you buy this one, knowing Chrome OS capabilities and limitations, you won't be sorry. It's an excellent device and an *outstanding* value.
Cons: Bluetooth is not available on this device at this time. Per discussion on Chromebook Central, it's actually a software issue not hardware, and it is possible to use Bluetooth if you switch to the Chrome OS Developer Channel and add appropriate drivers. However, this is not for the average Chrome OS user.
Overall Review: Come visit Chromebook Central on Google Groups, either before purchasing to ask questions, or to participate in the community after purchase! I look forward to "meeting" you there...
