Works great
Pros: Love it, I was nervous about buy refurbished, but it is like new, everything works and it was a lot cheaper than brand new.
Cons: None
Great Memory!
Pros: Runs at 1600mhz in my Asus M5897 like it's supposed to AFTER overclocking it. It defaults to 1333 for some reason in my Asus M5897 mobo.
Cons: My Asus M5897 motherboard for some reason sets this memory to run at 1333 instead of 1600. When I run the system info it says this is 1333 memory which I thought was strange. I had to "overclock" it to 1600 to get it to run at 1600 in my Asus MOBO. Searching the internet I found that others have had the same issue when using this memory in an Asus MOBO. Asus says its the memory, Corsair says its the motherboard. I don't know whose fault it is, either ASUS needs to update their BIOS or Corsair is using 1333 memory and rating it at 1600. More than likely ASUS just needs to update their BIOS. I overclocked it to its 1600 rating and its running like a champ at 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5v like it says. Just wish my MOBO would set it where it should be automatically without it needing to be "overclocked."
Overall Review: I gave it 5 eggs since this memory runs good and I don't know if the 1333 issue is related to the motherboard BIOS or the memory.
Great MOBO
Pros: Bought this MOBO along with a Phenom II X4 965 BE CPU. It works great, overclocks great, and does everything it is supposed to do very nicely. I am a big ASUS fan and have owned many ASUS MOBOs, this is another exceptional product.
Cons: None
Great CPU!
Pros: Was using an Athalon 64 X2 4400+ on my old motherboard. It was struggling to play some of the newer games such as Ghost Recon Online, Skyrim, and Guild Wars 2. Upgraded to a new MB and this processor and what a huge difference! I've been able to overclock to 3800 Mhz without raising the stock voltage. It does run hot so you'll need a good 120mm air cooler. I'm using the Coolermaster 212 EVO which keeps it at 44C under full load @ 3700 Mhz. The 92mm I had before was only able to keep it at 55-57C which is way too hot.
Cons: None
Works great
Pros: Keeps my Phenom II X4 965 C3 at 44C overclocked to 3700 Ghz. My old cooler (Arctic Freezer 64) was only able to get it to 55C. I'm very pleased with this cooler and it was only 30 bucks. The instructions were not hard to follow, though they could have been a little more detailed for AMD systems.
Cons: If you have high profile memory, you won't be able to use the first slot. With low profile you will be fine. I use low profile so this is not an issue for me.
