Strong performer
Pros: This CPU has been running at 4.5 ghz with 1.45v using a Corsair h80i since the day I bought it. Using Cinebench its multithreaded performance is a little over a i7 3770 (a $300+ cpu) but I only paid $150 for the 8350.
Cons: Not really a con, but if I had it to do over I'd purchase the 8320 since its cheaper and easily hits 4.5 ghz. Anything over 4.5 ghz and the 8350 requires lots of volts to achieve stability.
Overall Review: Great price to performance. Overclocks easily on my 990fxa-ud3 and h80i. Firestrike score of 8587. My configuration: 8350 @ 4.5ghz with 1.45volts GA-990FXA-UD3 8 (4gbx2) gb Team Vulcan 2400 mhz RAM XFX R290 Samsung 840 250gb WD 640 AAKS WD 500 BEVT Toshiba 3tb Rosewill HIVE 750w
Good gpu, bad Sapphire bios
Pros: I purchased 2 of these in November around black friday for $240 before the prices skyrocketed. The cards will do 1100 core and 1500 memory easily. Scrypt mining I get 620 khs on the 1100/1500 card but the top card (the one that sucks in the heat) will only do 520 khs cause I have to underclock it to 860/1250 to drop the voltage from 1.25 to 1.125
Cons: Price. These cards were going for as little as $150 as recently as November and now due to the high demand from scrypt mining all radeon gpu are extremely high. The cards bios has locked voltage at 1.25 for stock clocks of 925/1250. In order to drop the voltage to 1.125 you have to drop core to 860. 1.25v is way more than needed at stock but will allow a overclock of 1100/1500 easily.
Overall Review: Over all this is a average card. The 7950 gpu is still very powerful at gaming and mining 620khs is easy for the bottom card or if you only have one. It does great at scrypt mining and gaming.
Very nice looking quality case
Pros: -Made by Phanteks -Very nice to look at -Quality feeling -2 addressable RGB fans -2 USB 3.0 front panel
Cons: -No rubber grommets but at this price point can't complain about that.
Overall Review: Nice looking quality case for the price
Side panel comes disattached
Pros: Nice case with RGB
Cons: The clear side panel is glued to the piece that screws into the rear. Mind fell off after couple months
Overall Review: Would not buy again nor recommend
Average board when not DOA
Pros: These are low end B450 motherboards that run stable.
Cons: 1 arrived DOA. Overclocking is not good i've used 1600AF, 1700X, 2600 and not overly impressed with the OC options.
Overall Review: The board does fine for general use. It's a decent budget option.
Worse airflow
Pros: Attractive case with customizeable trim
Cons: The airflow of this case is atrocious. So bad cooler master redesigned it with side vents. This case airflow was so poor that even with 4 case fans would still run hot. Taking off the front panel would drop temperatures by 15+ cel
Overall Review: Do not buy this case unless you only want a nice looking office build with a ryzen 3 2200g or some other low power build.
