Happy with purchase

WD 3TB My Book Desktop External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 - WDBFJK0030HBK-NESN
WD 3TB My Book Desktop External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 - WDBFJK0030HBK-NESN

Pros: Low power consumption Price can be cheaper than buying the drive inside by itself Whisper quiet No bright lights Good ventilation holes Sleek enclosure design

Cons: No fan to dissipate heat Drive inside is only 5400 RPM Plug to wall takes up too much room

Overall Review: I've only had this for less than a week but so far I'm quite happy with my purchase. I've loaded it up about half full and so far everything is working very well. Even though it doesn't have a fan it doesn't get too hot. A different enclosure I have without a fan the drive gets so hot I fear it might damage it, this is not the case with this. At best I can feel a slight warms when touching the enclosure or feeling the vents for heat. The drive inside is WD WD30EZRX which spins at only 5400 RPM but only takes up 6W of power on load which is partly why no fan is needed. It is whisper quiet because of the good enclosure design. At arms length away you will not be able to notice that it's on except for the light which is a nice soft white. The power plug does not have a power brick in the middle so the plug to the wall is a bit of a brick, not oversized but I'd rather the brick be in the middle of the cord to free up space on the wall outlet. I purchased this for cheaper than it costs for the drive inside. Packaged software that it comes with is good but as I'll be using it for a NAS I have not used it too much. Excellent buy so far. Gave 4 eggs for the cons though I suppose it would have been more expensive had it fixed those issues.

Not worth the base price

Gamdias Achilles E1 RGB Gaming Chair - Black / White
Gamdias Achilles E1 RGB Gaming Chair - Black / White

Pros: Can hold higher weight (up to 450 lbs) Can recline substantially Good adjustments High seat back

Cons: Bucket seat is not for everyone Can lead to back pain Lumbar support cushion doesn't fit well Customer support does not respond very fast Cushion support is subpar for the price RGB lighting is overrated

Overall Review: I purchased this product on sale. I would never pay full price for this chair. I have had this chair now for almost a month. I have since tried other bucket seat chairs out and this is pretty tight for any semi-large people. I'm 6' tall and about 250 lbs. and it took me a few weeks before I even felt remotely comfortable in this chair. I did not want to return it because I had already sent in the rebate as soon as I received the chair and didn't want to go through the hassle of dismantling the chair to send it back. The padding on the chair is not what I would expect for the price I paid for it. Compared to a chair I purchased for my son that was half the sale price of this chair it had a lot more cushion on it and was more comfortable. The reclining part of the chair was good. Works ok as a chair for reclining on but not very good for gaming. I contacted GAMDIAS about this and I had to get after them to get back to me a couple of times. They thanked me for my opinion about the product. Said nobody else had the same issue I had with the lack of cushion hurting my lower back and suggested I either return the product to Newegg or send it back to them and pay an extra $100 to upgrade to their M1 model. I did not want to do this so I guess I'm stuck with what I have. I've sat in worse chairs but those were chairs that were worn out after many years. I would expect when I purchase a several hundred dollar chair that I'm going to be getting something that is mostly universally comfortable. If I were you I would look at other gaming chairs before picking up an E1. I can't comment on their other chairs as I haven't tried them out. For their customer support though I would definitely reconsider before purchasing one of these.

Good router for the basics

TRENDnet TEW-652BRP 802.11b/g/n Wireless N Home Router up to 300Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4

Pros: My parents have been using this for a few years now and they've experienced no significant issues. They just use it for browsing mostly.

Cons: I wouldn't recommend it for gaming.

Great monitor

Pros: Bright colors Good sound quality Lots of inputs / outputs Good response rate

Cons: Nothing I can think of

Overall Review: I've had this for almost 1.5 years and this thing is still great! It's perhaps not as good as monitors that are double this price, I paid $159 for this Nov 2010, but for the price it is great. The sound is what you would expect from 2W speakers and it has audio in, audio out, hdmi, dvi and all that you would expect out of a gaming monitor. No dead spots or always on spots after 1.5 years so far. Looking forward to it lasting much longer.

Great battery power

MOTOROLA T225 Bluetooth Hands-Free Speaker Car Kit with 40 Hours Talk Time, Noise Reduction & Echo Cancellation
MOTOROLA T225 Bluetooth Hands-Free Speaker Car Kit with 40 Hours Talk Time, Noise Reduction & Echo Cancellation

Pros: Long lasting battery Pairs with 2 phones Easy to use

Cons: Does not play music No text to speech or speech to text

Overall Review: The battery power on this is amazing. I've used it for a month and forgot to charge it and it was still high battery power. Charges quickly too. I wish it did text to speech or speech to text or played music through my iPhone but other than that it does what it says it is supposed to and cheaper to boot compared to those with more features.

Beats the competition in price and features

Systor 7 Burner Lightscribe 24x CD/DVD Duplicator + 250GB/HDD & USB 2.0 Model 07ALTALS22HDD

Pros: Includes 400GB hard drive Cost effective for large burning jobs Lightscribe vs. printed labels are cheaper Price vs. other duplicators with the same features Knowledgeable tech support and toll free number Burns as fast as computer drives No touch burning Variety of functions

Cons: Fails occassionally Poor documentation Poor support webpage

Overall Review: I've only had this less than 1 week but have already completed 100 labels for Lightscribe and burned 100 discs. It does fail occasionally. I've had about 6 or 7 fails but it didn't result in a coaster. Instead the drive just failed to burn at all and I could just try to burn it in the next batch. I had one Lightscribe that got about 1/5 done and just stopped but I just put it in again and it finished the label, looked a little weird but was good enough. I had to contact tech support regarding copying files to the internal hard drive which wasn't working but they answered my question quite kindly. Their webpage and documentation is sorely lacking. I'm an experienced user but even after doing what the instructions say it wasn't working. This is cutting my burning and labeling time substantially. I'll review again after a few months of using this. Surprised at finding a hard drive in this as it's not mentioned in the features on Newegg.
