I have doubts Panasonic lacks knowledge of its product. More likely the Newegg web developer had a few too many the night before putting up this spec sheet. So quitcherbellyachin and do a little research (1 click to the mfgr's website). It is not forbidden to be clever.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Some other review site gave this inverter model high marks. I'm sending it as a wedding gift.

PC Power and Cooling S61EPS 610W Continuous @ 40°C EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply compatible with core i7

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I chose an overall rating of one because I wasn't able to select zero.

None yet - RMA'd the first unit, now RMA'ing the replacement......still haven't powered up my pc.

Cons: I did my homework - PC Power and Cooling is supposed to be among the best and my needs are minimal.

Fans and lights....but no monitor display.....never "woke up" out of sleep mode. I swapped the unit with an old 300 watt unit-powered up fine. RMA'd a second unit-same exact problem. Ordered a psu tester from Newegg. The diff btwn the 2 is the Silencer has 4.9 v on both the +5 and +5VSB rails while the working unit has 5.1 on 5.0 respectively. ASUS tech support tells me absolutely 5.0 on the +5...usually 5.1. Another dead unit.

Received the psu Tester and found the only measurable difference to be the fact that

Other Thoughts: More disappointment. Since this has taken over 30 days - I no longer qualify for a new I get a refurb. Just great. I paid $12 + change to ship the first unit back. Thanks Newegg for covering the cost of the 2nd RMA shipping - but I'm still beefed that I no longer get a new unit. I could have bought refurbs for half the price elsewhere. Hey....I should actually be really thankful I learned the lesson on this psu - CAUSE I WAS GOING TO ORDER A PANASONIC 50" PLASMA TV FOR XMAS. Note the operative word - "was".
