This review is from: be quiet! SILENT BASE 600 ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Orange
Pros: - Almost every external surface has a sound dampening pad glued to the inside edge. This helps dampen rattling and noise transmission from inside the case to the outside.
- There is plenty of space inside for cooling.
- 6 total fan mounting locations. 1] (1) Next to PSU, 2] (2) top of case, 3] (2) front of case (both 140mm only), (1) rear of case
- Top, Front, and Bottom are all structurally reinforced by durable plastic (in addition to the metal chassis).
- Mesh screens for front and side fan intakes
Cons: - The plastic clips holding the plastic reinforced materials are very hard to "bend" to pull the plastic off the case. You are required to do this to install fans/radiators. I was very scared that I was going to break the plastic clip when I was trying to bend the clip. I had to find a tool (screwdriver) to get the force required to bend the clip.
Other Thoughts: The case is actually well designed and engineered. It's manufactured in China which allows it to have some slight QA issues (like the underside of the top plastic was covered in molding residue (fine, dark black powder) but the build quality is decent. The inclusions of the bequiet! fans make this case much more valuable than its price tag. You're getting 2 fans that push 19dbA at full speed included with this case. I've been very happy so far with this purchase.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ViewSonic XG2401 24" Full HD 1080P TN 144Hz Free Sync Gaming Monitor, 1000:1, 350cd/m2, USB, HDMI, Display Port, Built-in Internal Speaker, Height, Pivot, Title and Swivel adjustable, VESA Mountable
Pros: +The monitor displays beautifully, Freesync is a huge positive.
+The display stand is very girthy. It is definitely well-built.
Cons: -To get this display to use all 144Hz you must do a very convoluted installation, There are no instructions to tell you how to do the entire process successfully. This monitor is definitely no plug-and-play. To get Freesync to work, you must navigate the On Screen Menu and enable the Display Port version 1.2. Then you have to navigate to a different menu and allow for variable refresh rate (I forget the name of the command). You also must install the ViewSonic specific monitor driver inside of Windows. There's no easy file to click and install, so you have to navigate to your display adapter within your device manager. You must upgrade the driver manually and point it to the file on the CD that came with the monitor. After all is said and done, you finally have a Freesync monitor. I had to find this out by researching forums where people had the same issues.
Other Thoughts: The monitor is very nice. If you can handle the uncomfortable install/setup process mentioned above, then it is definitely worth a buy. If you are looking for a monitor that you plug in and it works, this is probably not the monitor for you. A little more effort on ViewSonic's part to ease the user experience would have gone a long way.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro Lifetime 1 PC
Pros: I've run the free version of this software for more than a year now and have been so happy with the free version that I purchased the retail version. It has saved me from quite a few malware attacks.
More importantly, it will run successfully in Windows Safe Mode and will update in Safe Mode w/Networking so you can remove some of the more involved malware attacks. It also actively blocks 'known' malicious sites from leaching data from your browsing sessions. (This is a nice feature if you are torrenting)
Cons: Absolutely nothing about the existing program.READ FULL REVIEW
