This review is from: Lowepro LP36173-PEU Slingshot 202 AW Black Camera Backpack
Pros: Good construction, doesn't feel cheap (and it isn't). Feels durable, although I haven't had the chance to put it through hell. Fits my 60D w/ tammy 17-50, sig 30mm, 430ex and a few wireless triggers in main compartment. Charger and stuff in top compartment. Can't imagine fitting much more than that without a lot of re-arrangement. Can probably stick a 55-250 in there but doubt either of the 70-200 will fit easily, although can probably be accomplished.
Weather cover is def. handy to have, so is the tripod holder.
Cons: None really, knew what I was getting, and what size it would be.
Other Thoughts: Nice compact bag. I'm 6'1 so compact for me might not be compact for you! Holds MY gear, doesn't mean it will hold yours. Be like me, check it out in a store, and buy it here :p If the price difference is big enough.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Canon EOS 60D 4460B003 Black 18.0 MP Digital SLR Camera - Body Only
Pros: Larger than rebels, heavier, great ergonomics even for my big hands. FPS, button layout, 9 cross type af points, top info screen. All those complaining this is an upgraded rebel, it is not even close. It sure isn't a 7D, but for the price its close enough.
Cons: None that I've come across yet.
Other Thoughts: Lack of MA, or a 1 fps decrease from the 50d may be a con to some, not for me so I didn't list it as such. This camera is as close to a rebel as all the previous xxD bodies.
Also although the vari-angle lcd is nice for some situations, I would've rather not had it, but that's just me.
This review is from: VANGUARD Alta Pro 263AT Aluminum Alloy Tripod - No Head
Pros: High quality, sturdy, and looks and feels very well built. Love the center column, and love the spiked/rubber feet.
Cons: Haven't owned it long enough to come up with any, and I hope it stays this way.
Other Thoughts: I chose this over the Manfrotto 055xprob, the few reviews that I've found on this tripod gave me ease of mind about buying it. It's a bit lighter than the mafrotto and is also smaller when closed, but it is shorter without the center column extended. I'm 6'1 and find it good height. Also saved a few bucks. The tripod feels as if it will last just as long as the trusty 055xprob, but will have to wait and see, lifetime warranty is nice as well.READ FULL REVIEW
