Antec GX GX 700 Black and military green ATX Mid Tower Case

4 out of 5 eggs Solid case if you can get it on sale 01/02/2014

This review is from: Antec GX GX 700 Black and military green ATX Mid Tower Case

Pros: It's a solid case with plenty of airflow if you purchase 3 additional 120's. The fan control is nice and easily accessible, and you can fit thinner 280mm radiators on the top vent. I love the USB ports on the top versus the face as well.

Cons: As many have said, it's fairly cheap in construction. Thin metal, sub-par paint, and you cannot use the top 5.25 drive bay. It also only has 4 ports for the fan control, when you can have 6 fans in the system. I'm not a terrible fan of the color scheme, but for $30 it wasn't that bad.

Other Thoughts: I got it on sale for $30, and it was a great steal. More than worth the money. If you're paying full price though, I'd look elsewhere. At a Corsair x00R series or a Cooler Master HAF for a similar price point. Even some of the other Antec cases for the same base price are better.

Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Red LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: These fans are great. Near silent on low power, and move a solid amount of air. They're a bit cheaper than most of the fans I was looking at, but turned out great. I bought 3 of them for my Antec GX700 to complete the fan loadout.

Cons: The front two are dead silent for the most part, but the one I put on my side panel whines a bit. Nothing too bad, about at your non-quiet fan volume. Not sure if it's due to the fan itself or the airflow patterns around it.
