Pros: Great price with coupon code and mail in rebate. Unlike other reviewers mine has been almost silent for the THREE years I've owned it. I'm an avid gamer (dd0) and leave my desktop on when I'm away for remote use so it's getting plenty of use. Runs my system these past years without a hitch. Twin SSD's in Raid 0, Reg HHD, XFX 6580, AMD 8 core bla bla bla...;) Was my budget three years ago...
Still two more years left on warranty.
Cons: Just shy of three years of ownership without issue until now. The PSU has started clicking/ticking when I boot up and stays on constantly. Almost sounds like a fan blade is catching something. I've removed the PSU, blown it out with air, gave it a few love shakes..etc...everything looks good but it's tick tick ticking away. Still two years left on Warranty so I'm looking at buying a new PSU to send this one in for warranty work.
Other Thoughts: I've been getting my first BSOD (1024) these past couple months on my three year old first build. I've Updated all drivers..etc run every software test in the book (Prime95, FurMark, Memtest 86+ etc), checked temps and everything checks out fine. No overclocking. I'm hoping this PSU is the source of my issue as it's the only part making noise...time will tell. Will post how warranty return goes after I get it in and back.READ FULL REVIEW
