CineRAID CR-H458 Hardware RAID 0, 1, 10, 3 and RAID 5, Support 4 x 3.5

Pros: Quiet - Well constructed - Looks pretty - And has options for 3.5 and 2.5 drives. It even includes screws and a screw driver for the 2.5 mounting in the box I got. Not required but a nice touch.

Cons: I would have to agree with the instructions comments others have pointed out. I have experiance with Raids at work so this is not new to me. If you never set one up you may want to visit the website for a more detailed manual and walkthrough.

Other Thoughts: The software that comes with the Raid works great IMO. I setup a test with some 4 spare 2.5 40GB drives. I wanted to play with the tools so I can see this in action before I setup a live backup. I setup a Raid 5 with the 4x40GB. I formated the Raid with NTFS and then copied about 60GB of data. Once that was done, I pulled one of the drives to simulate a failure. Then replaced that bay with another 40GB drive and it was smart enough to know that the drive failed and was replaced. It started the rebuild immediately. That was a small 40GB drive so it took about 35 minutes. I cant wait to see how long a 3TB drive will take. ;)

The software has simple and advanced modes and works good. If you plan to put used drives that still have data in them, I would suggest deleting the partitions. It is not required, but it seemed to like this better.

5 out of 5 eggs WOW 10/29/2012

This review is from: Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac

Pros: FAST and Easy to use. I love being able to run Windows Apps without having to use the Windows interface.

Cons: I wish the advanced options were just a little easier to access. But thats not really a true con.
Also I wish you could chose Widescreen resolutions when in windowed mode.

Other Thoughts: Reminds me a lot of VMWare for PC. So for someone that never used Virtual Machine software, just follow the directions and you should be fine.

5 out of 5 eggs Works Perfect 03/29/2012

This review is from: Apple - iPad 10W USB Power Adapter (OEM)

Pros: What can I say; It works. The extension cord for this makes this a great buy.

Cons: The only con I can think of is when I came back to order another one a month later and they are out of stock. Please get some more back in.

Other Thoughts: This kit made it a lot easier to be on the go. I have a stationary cord at home as well as a travel cord in my backpack. A must have for the serious IPAD user.
