Logitech G700 Black 13 Buttons Tilt Wheel USB RF Wireless Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Excellent customization features. Great look and feel. Works well when connected to USB cable.

Cons: The wireless features are laughable at best. After a few weeks the wireless receiver no longer functions, it logs every other or every third click. Mouse functions fine when connected via the cable, so it's just the wireless functionality that is broken.

Other Thoughts: Contacting Logitech's customer service was a nightmare as this is an "unknown issue." Their best recommendation was to buy a new mouse...which I wouldn't have needed if it worked correctly to begin with.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Large and in charge! Whisper quiet fan. Keeps CPU temp so much lower at full load than my stock heatsink/fan combo!

Cons: The mounting bracket was a little tricky to properly install on my AM3+ chipset, but nothing some patience didn't resolve.

Other Thoughts: Whilst gaming:
Stock fan/heatsink = 62 degrees C
Hyper 212+ = 33 degrees C...insane!!

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD8150FRGUBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Chip is great, fast, easy to install. Stock fan cools the processor at full load.

Cons: The stock fan does the job, however it is extremely LOUD. In addition the fan was very difficult to install with the bracket. Let me say it again, the stock fan was like a 747 taking off in my office when gaming. It kept the processor cool, but was so loud!

Other Thoughts: I have since upgraded to an "after market" heatsink/fan and my PC is whisper quiet and cool even under full load.
