Very Happy
Pros: Easy Install, Quiet Operation, Works as advertized.
Cons: Bulky
Overall Review: I'm not sure how people had a hard time installing this. I actually needed this because I broke one of the fan blades on my factory CPU due to an install error (shows my lack of technical skill). There really seemed like there was no way to install this incorrectly. Didn't even need directions.
DOA
Pros: Not sure of any except that I ordered two modules and for now, 1 is working.
Cons: Memory shows up in the bios, so it gave me the appearance that everything was ok, but I kept getting BSOD. Turns out that one chip is leaking memory. Once I removed this chip, everything worked fine. Unfortunately, since the memory kept passing the memory tests in the bios, it took me more than a month to figure out the problem and now I am passed my return date... So, if you get the bsod with these, try rearranging them, or try one at a time.
Couldn't get the free game...
Pros: I was torn between this video card and another, and the thing that tipped the scales was the free games. I tried to download the two games that are supposed to come with it and to date, after three days of trying to download the games, I keep running into a problem. One says the code site is down and the other says to check back later. The Batman site has this impossible to read distorted array of letters, and after about 25 attempts, I have finally given up. I can only guess the sites got some problems and they really don't care to fix it because they already sold the product. I can't help but think I've been scammed...
Cons: I did a new build and my computer would not launch on the first three tries due to this video card. I removed the card twice and both times the computer would launch. I have a 1000 amp power supply and had both the 6 pin and 8pin power cable supplying the video card. According to my motherboard mfg, the video card still needed more power to allow the board to launch. Not sure why all the power necessary isn't supplied with the two cables that are attached.
End Connectors could be better
Pros: 1,000 watts with plenty of end connectors and cables.
Cons: I've noticed several of the end connectors aren't clipping down like power supplies I've used in the past. This is especially annoying when it's the ATX where keeps slipping out. Even when connecting directly to the power supply, it's a difficult task. The ends of my fingers are somewhat raw from this latest build because of all the pinching and wiggling. Would not be my first choice.
So far so good
Pros: I was really worried when I read all these negative reviews, but so far I am up and running with no problem. I did at first think I had a DOA board but then read the troubleshooting part of the user's manual. Apparently the video card I installed was drawing too much juice and the board would not allow the computer to boot. Once I installed the extra power source to the ATX4P, the computer booted fine and I have since shut it down and restarted several times as I've loaded different drivers and installed various software packages. I'm upgrading from a gigabyte that I built about three years ago. I'm hoping to have the same success since the last one went almost 24/7 for three years with rarely being shut off.
Cons: None that I can think of
Monster
Pros: Huge case with huge airflow. So much room that it was impossible not to have one of the cleanest builds ever. The wall where the motherboard is mounted has hidden channels that allow you to fish all of your cables to get the absolute best build possible. I really liked the expansion bays and hard drive bays. The way the slide in and out and have snaps that hold the drive in place was perfect. Tons of USB ports as well.
Cons: Big and Heavy
Overall Review: Make sure you have the room for this case as it's easily twice the size of a normal case.
