This review is from: be quiet! DARK BASE PRO 900 ATX Full Tower Computer Chassis - Black/Orange
Pros: Solid construction, right side panel rigid (slides on easy), modular and great case to build in. Tempered glass side panel. Door is easy to swap out (left to right ) or (right to left)* Overall a beautifully designed case. Quality craftmanship and perfect case for pro gamers. - See Other
Cons: Not really a con, brushed aluminum top and door panel are a fingerprint magnets (top and door) ... Everything else is perfect. No other cons to list.
Other Thoughts: After close examination of the Dark Pro 900 door I found it to be 'hollow'. Hence a thin aluminum panel is on the front, can be removed with little effort (careful not to bend it too much), then the 'push button' can be moved to the right top of the door from the left top area. (when opening door from right to left) Also to note the enclosed light bars can be fitted inside the door and with little creativity a person can create a lighted door panel.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro BFF-LPRO-14025R-RP 140mm Red LED Case Fan
Pros: Quiet operation when used as a case fan, 120mm and 140mm mounting holes on base of fan. Red LED color is a solid "red" color. Perfect for water cooling or use as quiet case fans for an HTPC build. Low vibration on full speed. (See other)
Other Thoughts: On a 9590FX AMD build I have 3 on a 420mm radiator and 4 on a 280mm radiator. Solid air flow and very low noise operation on 60% fan speed when used with a fan controller. Noticeable sound of air being moved through radiators on full load, but must realize pushing high pressure through fins will create some turbulence aka noise. Optional jumper can be hooked up to a on/off switch to turn the lights off or on if desired. With current water cooled setup using Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans I can achieve 5.3 Ghz @ 1.52v OC'd at a max temp of 54*C.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: All in one construction, ease of installation, trouble free maintenance. Low noise from the pump.. Hoses flexible. Overall it's a great product worth the price for the average consumer. Enthusiast would prefer something more.
Cons: Only real concern is the fans. Granted they do move air through the radiator, on full speed they are loud. At 35-38 Dba they can be heard even if the case is under your desk. At lower speeds they are silent however if you require higher speed for extra cooling, then the trade off is the noise.
Other Thoughts: i would also recommend another after market thermal paste. The one included would work fine however there are better quality paste out on the market that will give better results.READ FULL REVIEW
