Hardware good, software bad

TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2
TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: I use this adapter in the basement, router is on the main floor. Full bars at all times, very seldom is the connection interrupted.

Cons: Software that came with the adapter doesn't work. Nothing on the menu is clickable, it's all greyed out. Fortunately, the adapter runs fine without it.

Most Critical Review

Bad fan

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Stable, plentiful power.

Cons: Fan started squealing around 6 months. Completely died around month 12. Sad days.

Overall Review: The real stink is I went to replace the fan in order to avoid buying another PSU, and the fan isn't your regular case fan. It's part of the unit itself, you'd have to manually cut it away.

Solid, dependable fan.

Thermaltake A1357 80mm Case Fan
Thermaltake A1357 80mm Case Fan

Pros: I've owned this fan for over a year and it's still running solid, exactly the same as it did when I first purchased it. The dial for adjusting speed is awesome, when I'm doing work that strains the computer I can crank it for the full 4800+ rpms.

Cons: It's very loud when used at the max setting but that is really to be expected.

Overall Review: I never really bothered with the temperature control setting because noise doesn't bother me, I just keep it cranked generally.
