Devastator II LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle with Blue LED Edition by Cooler Master
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Looks, price, performs well. Buy a similar product somewhere else and pay a lot more.

Cons: Not cordless, uses 2 usb ports.

Other Thoughts: I feel like I stole this for what it costs.

MSI MSI Gaming 990FXA-GAMING AM3+/ AM3 AMD 990FX & SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: I am a fan of MSI, good experiences with their boards. Awesome dragon case decal. 990 fx, good sound. Got 4.7 ghz on 8350 at 1.46 volts (high). OC genie, OS overclock, gaming mode.

Cons: Power fluctuations on high draw. Can't set cpu voltage manually you set an addition (+ 0.1v, etc). I set it to plus .1v to stock 1.165v then overclocked and voltage went to 1.495 (1.395+.1) way to high.

Other Thoughts: All in all good product I would buy again if doing an AMD build

Thermaltake Core X5 CA-1E8-00M1WN-00 Black SGCC E-ATX Cube Case E-ATX Stackable Tt LCS Certified Cube Chassis Standard PS2 PSU Power Supply

Pros: Stackable, dual psu support, reversible side panels and power, usb panel. Plenty of options for fans/radiators, 5 1/4 bays, modular, spacious but not really space wasting, tons of thumb screws, 4 25mm radiator screws. If I were to buy a motherboard tray and drive bays would cost more than this case. (can use parts to build own case) My favorite case I have ever bought.

Cons: Some threads imperfect (but work), cable management can be tricky (parts are dispersed), could be more modular, and could hold more drive bays. Can not remove bottom only small cut out, so I just cut out the bottom. If you use two psus can only have 2 3.5 hdds, unless you use 5 1/4 bays (which you can). Wish I could buy windowed side panel or two. Had to drill to use 180 mm radiator in front.

Other Thoughts: I think this case is a bargain. I bought two that I stacked the lower one I used for my home server, the top for my baby (gaming rig). I used both window panels on the top to show where all my money goes. (LOL) I have 3 psus installed one for each machine and one for fans and water pumps on a military switch. I had no problem installing a 360 mm (120*3) radiator above my gpu with push pull fans each 25 mm (75mm) is a little close to waterblock but fits. I also borrowed the bottom 5 1/4 bays for top machine and controller panels. I will use this case or its parts for years to come.
