Pros: Allows me to charge or copy pictures/videos from either device with one cable instead of carrying two cables.
Cons: None at this time.
Other Thoughts: If the price is right, I'd order a dozen of these and gift them to my friends & family.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Obihai OBi200 VoIP Telephone Adapter with Google Voice & SIP
Pros: The OBIHAI delivers better voice quality than most softphones & smart phones apps, it is definitely better than a MagicJack & an OOMA. And best of all it is free to use, once you own one of these devices. My family & I have used several versions of MagicJacks over the year, and none of them work as good as the OBIHAI.
Other Thoughts: Have been using it for over a month with my panasonic cordless phones to great satisfaction.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model VS1GB400C3
Pros: Reasonable price when I bought them.
Cons: At the end of 2011, I bought 4 of these 1GB sticks for my TYAN (tomcat K8E S2865) MB, that has a dual core OPTERON processor. The package from NewEgg sat on my shelf for 9 months. A week ago, I opened the packaging and used these sticks for the very first time.
I am trying to build a basic file server with a software RAID. My installs kept hanging at random points. I tried Ubuntu, I tried debian, I even tried installing Windows, same outcome.
I then went into a memory testing utility in Ubuntu and one of the four sticks failed several tests. I removed that stick, retested the remaining three sticks for about a half hour and when there were no errors, I started a fresh install.
Same problem, the install would just hang after a while. I got VERY frustrated with the system because I couldn't put my finger on the problem.
Among all of the components in the system, I did not think brand new memory sticks could be the problem.
It made no difference whether I tried, "Fail-Safe Defaults" or "Optimized Defaults", install hung anyway.
On a hunch, I removed all three of the CORSAIR sticks, replaced them with other 1 GB memory I had used in the past and the install went all the way thru on the first try. Go figure.
Other Thoughts: Over the years, I have probably handled a thousand memory sticks, but this is the first time that I ran into sticks that appeared to be compatible, but failed thereafter.READ FULL REVIEW
