Most Favorable Review

A great little tablet, it does what it does well.

Lenovo A1000 8GB 1G LPDDR2 Memory 7.0" 1024 x 600 Tablet Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
Lenovo A1000 8GB 1G LPDDR2 Memory 7.0" 1024 x 600 Tablet Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)

Pros: - Battery life - Low bloatware - Responsive in menus and browsing and pretty much in general - Plays 720p video - mx player with arm v7 neon codec - Good sound - Solid construction, it feels like a quality device - Stable wifi performance so far, which has been a bugaboo of many android devices

Cons: - It doesn't slice bread

Overall Review: For the price, it would be hard to beat this. I was coming from a vitalASC tablet that was bought at the same price point about a year ago, and it is a sad sad tablet in comparison to the Lenovo. For reference, the unit I received is the A1000F unit, which does have GPS and some of the other bells and whistles the base A1000 doesn't have, so I was very pleased about that. I'm not sure if all the refurbs are A1000F's though. Some people want to ding this tablet because it doesn't have the latest in excessive screen resolution. This screen is just fine, web looks great, videos look good. Most websites are standardized at around 1024 width anyway so they all look good so far. This tablet was also dinged online because Lenovo originally partitioned the internal memory in such a way that almost nothing could be installed before you maxed it out, I can say fixing this must've been part of the refurb process as my tab shows 2.5 GB available for internal installations and not the 300 MB or so some people were mentioning.
