This review is from: MSI A78M-E35 V2 FM2+ AMD A78 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: The main advantage is not needing a video card since it has HDMI native on the board
Micro atx fits a smaller case
Uses current 1866 ram without overclocking
Choice of a range of A Series AMD chips depending on build cost
Will boot and run non UEFI operating systems
Cons: None that I have found
Other Thoughts: I hooked up one of these M78 boards via HDMI to a 50 inch TV and it streamed a movie from the DVD drive flawlessly.
My wife's kitchen is a M78 board, A-4 with 8 gig of AMD Entertainer ram. It zips along running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
This review is from: Rosewill RNWA-UC10 USB Cradle
Pros: Works as an extension cable.
Works as a WIFI dongle mount.
Steady solid base.
Other Thoughts: I use these equally as a WIFI base or as an extension cable to bring a case back USB to the top of a desk.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: V7 Standard PS/2 Keyboard Combo CK0A2-4N6P
Pros: PS2 connection
nice feel to keys and mouse
Other Thoughts: I have had motherboards that do not like USB keyboards untill you tell it that it's ok, so I use PS2 for the first build. Also the PS2 connection is faster for a gaming build. This way I know that everything will work from the start and the new owner can change to what they may want later. They also have a spare keyboard and mouse in case the one that is swapped in gives trouble.READ FULL REVIEW
