Overworked, with no fails yet

Pros: Easy to install, works like a dream with Windows Media Centre (with your own peripherals that is), decent price for those who don't subscribe to HD TV. My card gets heavy, heavy use, as I'm constantly recording something off of TCM. I've done an entire day's worth of programming once, and this card has never quit.
Cons: Had to use my own remote/IR blaster, and not the default as it didn't work correctly, and doesn't pair well with WMC, WinTV won't detect more than one channel off of S-video input
Overall Review: As stated, I use a remote/IR blaster set from an old HP Media PC, because the remote doesn't work well with Windows Media Centre under Windows 7. WMC was the only program (I tried Myth, WinTV, and MediaPortal) that would recognise my IPTV box being fed to the computer via S-video, and load all the channels and correct TV guide. The others only loaded "s-video 1" with no-info. That's the only reason why I took an egg away.
Garbage

Pros: None, because it didn't even work
Cons: Fried before I even opened it, but it would cost more to RMA it than it did to purchase it
Overall Review: This is just garbage. I had mistakenly ordered an IDE DVD drive for my new computer, and needed a converter. This never worked out of the box. We had to take the SATA cable out of an old external drive to confirm that it wasn't the burner that was DOA. I'm sure my friend will make good use out of the burner I couldn't even put in my computer. So glad I ordered a blu-ray burner as back up, or I wouldn't have been able to use my computer. Sabrent makes cheap garbage, avoid at all costs. I would RMA this, but it would cost more to return it than it's worth.
