This review is from: Rosewill CAPSTONE-550-M – 550-Watt Modular Active PFC Power Supply – Continuous @ 122 Deg. F (50C), 80 PLUS Gold, ATX12V v2.31 & EPS12V v2.92, Intel Haswell, SLI, & CrossFire Ready
Pros: Modular, Great Price, 80 Plus Gold
Cons: None thus far
Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply when my Antec 500w died in later Oct. of 2012. I have not had any problems and would definitely buy another if need be. My next build will require a larger power supply but this series will definitely be in the running.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Semi-modular. Was very quite for around 30 days. Got it at a pretty good price.
Cons: Started making a clicking noise on about the 30th day. Possibly a faulty fan.
Other Thoughts: Was not able to contact Newegg until after day 30 and was told to contact Antec directly. Put in a support ticked so we will see how it turns out. 1 egg for now, until this is resolved and will update accordingly.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very fast, installed without a hitch, looks cool.
Cons: not free.
Other Thoughts: I bought this mainly so I could play Half Life 2, which by the way plays very well. I haven't owned a decent video card in years and this one seems pretty cool.
