Didn't See This Thing Coming
Pros: Are you scared to take a low-price MICRO mobo in a low-price case with one 80mm case fan ( hec 6K28BBX585), put it in an airflow-restrictive entertainment center, slap on a Q6600, Rosewill RCX-Z775-LX cooler, an 8800GS, then overclock everything? ...smart (to be scared). So, I did it, and this easily enhanced the performance of my Q6600 (my OCing capability seems to end at 1280fsb (2.88GHz result) with this board, no matter what the voltage (it's at +.025v and rock-steady)). Everything runs under 65c (yesisaid65c).
Cons: It doesn't seem to love me back.
Overall Review: At another website about performance-enhancing computer practices, I'll probably receive some help from some guys in getting this little board to push past 1280fsb.
Double DOA
Pros: Very well packaged and handsome SSD.
Cons: 2 for 2 DOAs, not available for RMA with Newegg within 30 days, have to talk to Mushkin. For years Mushkin's products had never let me down, and their RAM has been exceptionally stable.
Overall Review: My fingers are crossed that Mushkin will remedy this situation promptly. It's likely that there has been a mishap with these drives across the board that they've prepared themselves for.
Great Snorkel
Pros: Very dry and any rare gargling is quickly resolved with submersion and sharp exhilation. Have dived with this multiple times in choppy nearshore Atlantic.
Cons: None
Networking-Experienced Only
Pros: It's a wireless-n & gigabit router that works. It was only $40 when I bought here almost a month ago, which is the best price you can find on gear of such a capacity.
Cons: It's a shame that changes to the settings take MINUTES to apply when the router is otherwise so fast. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you're securing the wifi and forwarding ports, which will take a very, very long time. The gigabit lan seemed a hair slow, but I didn't benchmark it, so I won't dock for it.
Overall Review: This router is *almost* plug and play, but if you haven't set up a few routers, you'll have to search up documentation before attempting to set up this router.
Kinda Sucks
Pros: Silent scroll wheel, handsome body, switchout side buttons are a great feature since accidentally hitting the forward button usually doesn't do anything, but hitting the back button accidentally can hold things up for a second.
Cons: (Bought Multiple) It seems to be the wrong kind of big; it doesn't sit right. The sound of the buttons on one is deep and quiet, then the other is mid-range and loud. The lights are patchy like yo mama's beard. The response feels cheap compared to an MX518 or a G9. The response feels almost wireless (yuck).
Overall Review: Bought 3 for a CAD/CAI office, we're using 2. 0 of the 2 users prefer the mouse to the MX518 they had, one Habu's still in a box in the corner. I haven't gamed with this. I game with a G9, love it, and wouldn't even consider swapping this mouse in for it. The G9 is loud as heck and is banned from the office, though. Luckily, I game with headphones.
Booooo...
Pros: The construction of the drive feels very solid. The rubber cap fits extremely well, seemingly well enough to tear the plug off of a more cheaply built flash drive. The cap holder is a huge plus. All of the stars given to this drive are for the exceptional feel of the construction and its appearance. The Godfather embossed prints are of good quality.
Cons: Unfortunately, the shipped flash drive is DOA. Super Talent products may be a gamble.
Good Seller!
Shipped promptly, arrived before expected in southern Florida. Purchased a dry snorkel which operates flawlessly and has already taken quite a beating on 4 dives.
