1 out of 5 eggs stay away 12/16/2013

This review is from: MASSCOOL FDV12025L1L34 120mm Case Fan

Pros: quiet..when it worked.

Cons: had this fan for about 8 months. bearing slowly deteriorated getting worse with each month. now, its completely useless.

Other Thoughts: spend the extra 5 bucks, and get something that lasts. youll end up spending it anyway when this one stops working.

GIGABYTE GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) DirectX 11 GV-N430-2GI 2GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: This video card rocks! I'm playing farcry 3 right now, all settings on high, and getting a perfect framerate. Sure, you could spend $300 on a bigger better card. but do you REALLY think it's going to make a big enough viewing difference to justify the price difference? If you want to play the latest games on a budget, buy this card!

Cons: None really, except the heatsink is a little shallow. The card does get a little warmer than I expected, but just give it a little extra airflow from a casefan, and it's all good!

GELID Solutions FN-TX12-15 120mm Case cooler

4 out of 5 eggs 01/16/2013

This review is from: GELID Solutions FN-TX12-15 120mm Case cooler

Pros: Very quiet, works well.

Cons: 3 pin power connector ONLY. make sure you have a spot open on your motherboard, because you'll have to do some modification if you want to run this directly off your PSU.

Also, wish it came with fan screws. the rubber tabs are kinda cool, and help with sound, but it would be nice to have the option of using fan screws. (especially since it would cost them all of what, $0.02 to throw 4 screws in the box?)

Other Thoughts: Does what it's supposed to do, just feel like if I'm buying a nice fan, it should have the same power options / mounting options that the cheaper ones would have :/
