Oh so so so SOOO close to perfect it hurts

Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel High Airflow ATX Cube Case Support ATX Power Supply
Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 (CC-9011030-WW) Black Steel High Airflow ATX Cube Case Support ATX Power Supply

Pros: So very easy to build in and make it look sharp and clean. Cable management is a breeze and took be a whole of 2 minutes to get things tied off and looking great. Aesthetically it's very pleasing to me, combined with 3 LED fans any build with this case looks gorgeous. Spacious, great for airflow and plenty of room to upgrade on cooling options later. Great size love the pseudo soft touch feel on the front panel plastic. Almost everything about this case is perfect for what it is aiming for. With a few minor exceptions...

Cons: Now these are not SERIOUS draw backs for the case, it is like I said near perfect, if this is what you are looking for. But they are things that if patched up in the air 540 2 or whatever will catapult it to the ranks of legendary cases! 2 biggest problems for me revolve around the same thing as most people talk about and that's the 3.5in drive mounting. The fact there are no mounts in the back even for 1 is a little perplexing. As well as the gaping holes beneath them that seem to serve no real practical purpose other than to show off your carpet or desk if you chose not to populate them. Next is the lack of a dust filter on the top. While I really liked that you guys realized with such an open design you put a filter on the front intakes which is nice. Buuuut did you forget the top? Dust can easily seep in through the loosely perforated top mesh. I have a h100i as an exhaust though so I won't have much dust build up but others might. The last and one that made me chuckle more then be frustrated. Is that with a box shaped 140mm fan populating the rear exhaust it blocks the hole for the top side panel screw. While the panel won't fly off or shake and such it's still kinda funny considering most decent after market fans do come in square frames.

Overall Review: While I said a lot in my cons they weren't actually huge cons just suggestions on things to fix and they are very easy to fix. Just put 2 3.5in drive bays in the back and make the 2 in the front removable. Next please get rid of the holes under the drives. Even if they are for cooling there must be a more elegant implementation. Next just smack a magnetic dust filter up top. and finally move the sind panel screw hole up 1 inch. Other then that flawless case in my opinion. A real knockout and an amazing purchase. Oh and if you make a version with tempered glass instead of acrylic i'll probably die of excitement.

Dissapointing

Corsair Carbide Series 300R Windowed Black ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Carbide Series 300R Windowed Black ATX Mid Tower Case

Pros: The case looks great, I love the appearance. The front fan intake as well as the bottom power supply intake are filtered. The paint job is really nice as well the black interior and exterior are very clean.

Cons: This case was not what I was looking for. Before I purchased this case I owned the 200r which is a fantastic value ATX case from corsair. I loved everything about it, but I was getting some new components and decided to upgrade to the 300r so I'd have a side window to show my new parts off. This was not what I expected and i'm not sure where to start. First off the construction of the side panel window doesnt feel right. Sure it's mostly window but it's easy to flex... a lot. Also the slightest bend in the window causes it to make this crackly squeaky cheap plastic noise. Cable management in this case is difficult to say the least. Wiring cables above the motherboard other than an 8 pin is impossible once the MOBO is in place so you will have to route cables before you put it in. The 8 pin fits into a little triangle cut out in the top left of the MOBO tray but once it's through not much else is going in there. The tooless implementation is dreadful non of the 5.5in bay clasps functioned properly. They either would jam and not move or they simply popped off with the slightest touch. the 3.5' drives were fine but they are those flex tooless trays so it's hard to go wrong there. And lastly if you are planning to use a top double RAD forget it. The mobo rests so far up that not only does the CPU voltage heat sinks block it if it's big enough, but the RAM slots themselves on my MSI G45 blocked the fans meaning I had to zip tie them to the tops of my case with some fan grills on top.

Great RAM newegg needs to update the picture

G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR

Pros: I have bought 2 kits of this one about a year ago and another about a week ago. They perform great and look great aswell. Nothing that seems out of the ordinary which for RAM is a good thing.

Cons: The second kit I received had a green PCB instead of black. Again not a big deal once they are in the slot you can hardly tell. And I don't mind the green PCB but I did buy this thinking they would be black.

Baby smooth

Mionix Naos 3200 Black 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB 2.0 Wired LED-optical LED Gaming Mouse
Mionix Naos 3200 Black 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB 2.0 Wired LED-optical LED Gaming Mouse

Pros: First off I don't personally own it but my friend does and he's let me borrow it for awhile to test it out. If you have medium to large hands and are looking for an optical mouse for gaming just look no further. This thing fits your hand like a glove and feels like it's made of silk. As other people have said this is a extremely comfortable mouse which makes a huge difference for those long gaming sessions. The sensor is a solid 3200dpi optical. Which means no mouse acceleration and it works on dam near ever surface. (though i wouldn't use your leg as a mousepad when playing CS:GO) You can change the LEDs to match whatever color scheme you may have.

Cons: Honestly I personally don't have cons but i think it's cause this is just about the perfect mouse for me. Feels great, tracks great, and outside of playing WoW I hardly use the 12 buttons on my naga so I don't mind the lack of extra buttons.

Overall Review: Seriously if what I stated above is what you are looking for in a mouse GET THIS MOUSE you will not be dissapointed

iBUYPOWER - 17.3" AMD Radeon HD 8970M - AMD A10-5750M - 16GB Memory - - Windows 8 64-Bit - Gaming Laptop - (Valkyrie CZ-28 NE001AMD )

Pros: This is an awesome laptop for the price (Got it on sale for about 1100-1200) This thing is everything I wanted and more. I wanted a nice portable gaming system for school and when I crash at my friend's houses and I was not disappointed. This laptop annihilates games I run crysis 2 at 1080p at the second to highest setting and stay above 30 even at the most intense sections. Now keep in mind you will only get 100% graphics performance as long as it is plugged in to charge. Otherwise the laptop will underclock for longer battery life. Though at these lower clock speeds it can run at high (lowest settings) at 1600:900 and stay above 40 and still last a good hour and a half to 2 hours. Battery life is around the 4 hour mark which is good and like i said 1 1/2-2 hours in gaming which is also pretty run of the mill. the cooling is great even on a blanket in bed it never gets unbearably hot. I just haven't found a thing this laptop is bad at and for the price I got it for it's great. The 8970m inside performs as well or better then the 770m and this laptop is as cheap as any other laptop that have the nvidia inside. Also the screen is TN but not as bad as I thought it would be. I have been spoiled by my 1080p IPS but the TN on this baby is surprisingly crisp. I thought I was going to be dissapointed but i'm very impressed. If you want a high end gaming laptop look no further my friends. Also I personally love the aesthetic the LEDs on the back are vibrant and the plastic has a nice brushed aluminum look. Also the key strokes sound really nice, kinda like tapping your fingers on a hard wood desk.

Cons: While it is great it isn't the perfect configuration for me. But everyone has different tastes and when it comes to making a laptop you have to appeal to as broad an audience as possible. But I would have preferred LED back lit keys since I like to browse the web in bed. Also I would have preferred a smaller HDD with a small mSATA for boot and cache but again that's just me.

Overall Review: just yeah need a laptop around the 1100-1500 dollar range? I heartily recommend it!

Fantastic case

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Steel / Plastic Compact ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Steel / Plastic Compact ATX Mid Tower Case

Pros: I cannot sing the praises of this case enough, for the price this has to be the lightweight champion of budget gaming rigs. The options it has are awesome. Air flow options are awesome. with 8 spots to mount 120s and 3 for 140s. the top of this case can hold any 240mm rad easy. and maybe even a dual 140 though that may be a little snug may try it out down the road. It has cable routing holes, while they don't have rubber grommets to hide the cables better it is awesome they are there and they are in all the right places. the case is mostly metal with the only plastic being the front cover and Power supply intake cover. while the case is cheap the metal side panels don't flex much at all and the entire case feels very strong and rigid. All the fan mounts of anti-vibration rubber mounts that fit inside the screw holes to help with noise. the case is deep enough to put in say an evo 212 CPU cooler but dont expect to be populating that top 120mm fan mount on the side. the front intakes are filtered and still allow enough airflow for 2 high quality 120s in the front to supply enough air for all your components meaning no need to populate the side mounts and bring in more dust and make more noise. This is just such a good case for the price. If you were looking for one in this price range look no further this is a fantastic product, I mean hey it's corsair and corsair know cases!

Cons: space between the mother board tray and side panel is a bit tight, but with clever cable management and tie downs you can easilly keep everything nice and tidy. I do not have a modular supply and you can hardly see any of the cords after about 25 minutes of routing cables!!
