This review is from: Microsoft Office 2010 Professional
Pros: A great suite of office tools
Other Thoughts: Can this software bundle be used on two 'regular' desktop PC's (one each at home & office?) Or, is there a 'qualifier' of some sort within the software/registration that truly only allows software installation on one desk top PC & one portable/laptop PC???READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Intel PWLA8391GT Desktop Adapter PRO/1000 GT 10/100/1000Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45
Pros: After several months of intermittent cable Internet connectivity (online for a few minutes & off offline for a few minutes) I was about to revert to smoke signals as my primary means of communication. Had the cable company out weekly in the two months prior to adding this adapter - Changed modems, ran new outdoor cable lines, added boosters, etc. Apparently the HP Pavilion's motherboard integrated NIC adapter had been slowly dying for a year or more! Added this unit and now my Internet connection is rock solid every time.
Cons: The months of headaches, cable service appointments and general frustration of wacky Internet service!
Other Thoughts: Be SURE to go to Intel to download the latest driver (rev. 10/2010). When you turn machine on after installing hardware do not allow Windows to try to find a suitable driver (select "Cancel"). The Intel driver package is easy to d/l and is self-extracting & running . . . Just let it do it's "thing", it will do all the work! To access various driver options, Right-Click properties from the Device Manager to find the interface.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good, solid, easy to configure (with supplied software) wireless router. Highly recommend for home & small office installations.
Cons: Bought to replace to (several years) older WRT54GS that had stopped working . . . Hope this unit fare better. We DO live in the lightning capital of the of the World - May have played a role in the older units demise!
Other Thoughts: Typically like the Linksys family of products.READ FULL REVIEW
