Is good
Pros: At the time this one was of the only options for SATA to USB adapter that was USB 3.0. I had to replace the USB 2.0 one I had since the connector shield broke and wouldn't hold SATA cables in place. WIth this one it just plugs directly into the case and doesn't sit on top of it so there is no chance it will break in the same way my previous one did. It works excellently and is made of a harder plastic than the one I replaced. It runs at full USB 3.0 speed and I haven't had any problems with it. It has 3 connectors; SATA, IDE, and the smaller EIDE for laptop/2.5" drives.
Cons: The only down side is that there is a switch that toggles from IDE to SATA interface. The one I replaced did not have this and allowed you to plug a different harddrive into each port. With the design on this one you can only run either or. Its been awihle since I've actually had to do that but I can't say Ive never had to do that before. If this is critical to you then you can just buy more adapters. It will work better than way in the long run.
Overall Review: Its Rosewill and not some random manufacturer you've never heard of before.
