Pros: Works in an enclosure just fine.
Cons: Does not respond to the wakeup signal from OS X and so when it goes to sleep it unmounts and cannot be remounted without a reboot. I bought this as an upgrade from a 500GB HDD, slotted it in the secondary drive bay where the CD drive used to be and started copying over files. When I was done it automatically unmounted a few minutes later. After lots of poking and prodding I was unable to get this drive to work reliably in my MBP.
Other Thoughts: If you're looking for an external backup drive it seems to work just fine that way. Cannot recommend this as an internal laptop drive.READ FULL REVIEW

Cons: Its a little difficult to get into to install the hard drive and the RAM. I felt like I was about to break it a couple of times.READ FULL REVIEW
