LOGISYS Computer KBMS202BK Black USB Wired Standard Enhanced Keyboard and Mouse Combo
LOGISYS Computer KBMS202BK Black USB Wired Standard Enhanced Keyboard and Mouse Combo

Pros: Nice spongy feel with keystrokes.

Cons: DOES NOT WORK. Top row of numeric keys and the insert/home/del block do not function on this keyboard. Test with multiple computers.

Overall Review: It cost more to ship this keyboard back than it is worth. This site really needs to allow us to give someting no eggs.

Misguided impression anyone still uses Windows

HP Laptop AMD A8-6410 4GB Memory 500GB HDD AMD Radeon R5 Series 15.6" Non-Touch Screen Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit with Windows 8.1 Pro License 355 G2
HP Laptop AMD A8-6410 4GB Memory 500GB HDD AMD Radeon R5 Series 15.6" Non-Touch Screen Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit with Windows 8.1 Pro License 355 G2

Pros: It was cheap and still had internal DVD

Cons: HP is under the misguided impression people still use Windows. I own somewhere between half a dozen and a dozen machines. I keep one Windows partition around only because I haven't upgraded my glucose meter to a modern one with Linux software for data dumping. I keep that on whatever computer I'm using as my "travel" computer. This was to be my new "travel" computer but HP used ALL 4 primary partitions. This left me with the following options: 1) wipe the drive to install Mint 17 2) Nuke the recovery and HP tools partitions to install Linux 3) Use Virtualbox VM I was pressed for time so I chose option 3. Even after upgrading to 500 Gig SSD and boosting RAM to 8Gig running inside of Virtualbox makes this machine run like a 286.

Overall Review: Cannot recommend this computer to anyone looking to use a modern OS unless they are willing to wipe it completely for installation.
