This review is from: TRENDnet TK-209K 2-Port USB KVM Switch Kit w/ Audio (Includes 2x KVM Cables)
Pros: I have an old XP machine that I use for some legacy software. I use this switch to go back and forth between that unit and my Windows 8 machine. It does the job and has been reliable for the most part. It works well with my wireless keyboard/mouse set as long as the wifi receiver is in the keyboard usb slot on the KVM switch.
Cons: Every once in a while - it's happened twice in the last month, and I use it almost every day - it gets confused and stops working. I have to unplug EVERYTHING and let it sit for a bit - and that fixes the problem. That's why I removed 1 egg. I'd still buy it again, though.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock A785GM-LE AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Had an old Abit MOBO blow a capacitor. This motherboard was perfect. It allowed me to rehabilitate a machine I wasn't quite ready to retire. It worked perfectly with the existing CPU and RAM but will take an upgraded CPU as well. The machine isn't used heavily, but this board has been reliable with no crashes...in fact, performing better than the board it replaced.
Cons: Only two RAM slots...but not a big deal, really.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's RAM, it works, and it says AMD on it - but it's made by Patriot. Or maybe the same company makes both the Patriot and AMD products. The motherboard I purchased was tested with this RAM, and it was on sale. The AMD branding didn't hurt, just because I'm building up to an all AMD platform. Also, it's red and black - while the Patriot equivalent is blue and black. :D
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: Thought too much already. Head hurts.READ FULL REVIEW
