Excellent Blu ray burner
Pros: Excellent burner, works like it should. you cant beat the price. Allows me to back up my data easily. This is my second LG branded blu ray burner. I have one in my work PC and one on my home PC. I can use windows backup to burn directly to BD-R. so I am ready when a hard drive fails. and I have a good copy on hand.
Cons: People need to learn what OEM means. If your so technically challenged then go pay 50$ more for this at a retail store. OEM means just the device, NOT THE RETAIL PACKAGE. Windows 7 can burn to this drive without any extra software. IMGBURN can burn to this drive, and its free. CDBURNERXP will burn to this drive and is free. InfraRecorder will burn to this drive and is free. go to cnetDOTcom and click on download. or go to NiniteDOTcom and get it there.
Overall Review: I love when people ignore the OEM part of the item description then cry in their milk when they get a bare drive in the box. I'm sorry but its your responsibility to understand what your doing even just a little bit. At least dont give the item a lower rating because of your lack of understanding. Retail means you get all the cables and software OEM means you get just the part described. Thank you
Great little laserjet
Pros: Fast, nicely designed as far as looks. Toner is reasonably priced. I would buy one again, and look forward to a few good years out of this little laserjet. wife was printing out a lot of documents, using up the expensive ink on our canon inkjet. Hence the need for laser. HP is good but a bit more $$ , based on reviews here on newegg and the price, I found this nice little unit. Glad I got it.
Cons: Not really a con but dont panic if this thing makes your lights flicker in the room you have it plugged in. The printer can suck down up to 1400 watts while its warming up. that will make a lot of devices like UPS's and desk lights flicker. again, DONT PANIC. I went downstairs and plugged in a long extension cable into an outlet with nothing else on it and sure enough. If you plug it into a branch of your power outlets in your home you will notice it doesnt cause anything to flicker. I just need to have one of the outlets in my computer room moved to its own "branch" on the circuit breaker in the basement.
Overall Review: First time I turned this on my UPS's beeped and the lights flickered. Realized I have too many things plugged into the same branch of outlets. Just get the laserjet plugged into outlets on a separate branch and you will be fine. This occurs on a lot of printers and not a problem with just this unit.
This is the older design, but its still great
Pros: Excellent case, makes phone easier to hold if you have big hands. Or simply want to protect your phone in general. This model still has the screen protector built into the frame.
Cons: This is the older model, thats why its so cheap. This is the one where they drilled away plastic near the mute switch opening. Doesnt hurt the case at all, but its the older model.
Overall Review: This older model still has the built in screen protector. the newer model does not. This older model partially blocks the light sensor on the iPhone4S the newer model does not. This older model has a price you cant beat. The newer model does not. Excellent value, despite having plastic drilled away to accomodate the mute switch position change from GSM iPhone4 to the CDMA iPhone4.
Canon makes a great product
Pros: it works, prints clear and sharp.
Cons: none really, it just works like it should.
Overall Review: When any printer prints a picture it uses all colors. all the colors combines form the bond to the paper. This is the case with all printers. All colors are used all the time. This is how the technology works for all manufactures. Canon didnt pull a fast one on anybody like this other poster claims. The chemicals in all the ink form the bond to the paper.
