Dont see why its not working for others....
Pros: Good blue, Looks good in my system. Makes cheap ram look good.
Cons: Doesn't really lower temps..... at all.... However I didn't expect it to, I got it just for athstetics
Overall Review: I don't understand why others are having issues with it. It fits your slandered 4gb DD3 ram. Tried multiple brands. Yes it makes NO real difference in temperature but I wanted it for look anyway.
3rd and final review
Pros: When it worked it did a good job.
Cons: Within hours of receiving my first card it died BSOD would not boot. Even my Bios splash screen had artifacts. Tried to RMA though Asus first but there customer support is non existant. One guy straight up called me a lier and an idiot followed by an abrupt hang up. Like what? anyway went to Newegg they got me a new one no hassle. Now the second card..... worked for about 2 days and was blowing me away that little thing was awesome... or so it seemed... I was doing nothing more than replying to customer question on another site where you buy and sell things, when it randomly BSOD. I thought "great, here we go again..." I tried everything! It was doing the same exact thing the first card was doing. So I called Newegg and set up another RMA this time Newegg Paid for the shipping, and the lady that helped me was awesome! My RMA has since been approved and now I'm just waiting for the funds to hit my PayPal (If it wasn't for Newegg I would have been stuck with Asus's Piece of junk)
Overall Review: I have since bought an EVGA GTX 760 2GB. Yes, its $100 more but its 10,000x better. When I unboxed my EVGA card it was missing my stickers witch I was really looking forward to. ( I know pethedic of me, right?) However, a 2 minute call to EVGA solved this and they got me my stickers over night for free! Now that is customer service my friend! PS. this post was much more colorful before Newegg centered me.
Fantastic!
Pros: 30$ after mail in rebate. fan looks good. powers 3 HD, my mobo, 95w cpu, disk drive, 5 fans, and my HD7770 without any problems modular!
Cons: mobo cord is to short to hide but is plenty long to plug into any mobo in a mid case. the fan doesn't seem to move much air but it doesn't seem to get hot anyway
Overall Review: only thing i would change is the main power length. other than that its perfect. also newegg had it at my door next day! even though it said 4-7 days!
Exactly what i expected
Pros: Looks clean Works
Cons: If you were to follow the instructions you would be making this product usless
Overall Review: If you were to actually use the 3m double sided tape you would be insulating your memory therefore seeing higher temps. if you have any kind of science or tec background you would know this. I installed this simply by putting arctic silver 5 thermal paste on each of the memory modules (be extremely careful not to get this paste on the card) then simply snap the heatsink on. its tight and secure with no tape needed. this will allow me to overclock my ram.
pleasently suprised
Pros: Cheap, Looks good, usb 3.0, dust screens on all the intake points, really light
Cons: Definetly cheap, it was shipped with all the cords hanging loose in the case and the side window didnt have any kind of protective cover and got all scratched up as a result. some of the metal had dents and were bent. the power and reset buttons have a cheap brittle feel to them
Overall Review: Over all i was impressed concidering how much i spent on it. the cons were all minor issues and nothing super bad. im still waiting on parts for my build but ill update if anything major comes up
It works
Pros: Cheap, did what i neaded it to. still kicking after 2 years
Cons: the MSI Overclock Geni never worked with the AMD A8 APU i bought. Instaled my own bios to overclock
