SAMSUNG EcoGreen F2 HD154UI 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
SAMSUNG EcoGreen F2 HD154UI 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: These drives ROCK! I was highly skeptical buying 8 of these at once (especially at the price). I thought to myself that at least 1-2 of them will roll in DOA. I'm stoked to say that I threw all 8 of these bad boys in my new case, hooked them up to my raid card and crossed my fingers. Suprisingly all 8 of these drives fired up and 6 hours later their locked, stocked and ready to rock in my Raid 6 config. After that I proceded to back-up my precious data off several computers via a lame G network. This lasted for about 3 days. Every several hours I would touch each drive to verify that the temps I was reading weren't a hardware malfunction. Once again I was presently suprised to feel these drives slightly warm to the touch. Then I decided to stream some Hi-Def footage I had shot through to my plasma and once again...PLEASANTLY SUPRISED. These drives are all that and a bucket of chicken. I'm thinking of expanding my lian-li to rock 6 more of these. SAMSUNG YOU ROCK!

Pros: It's silver certified. It rocks 1050 watts!!! Modular cabling. This thing has 16 Sata connections for those of us that like to add lots of toys.

Cons: good one

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ955FBGIBOX

Pros: It screams! I love AMD...AMD takes great technology and adds a bit more affordability to the game and allows you to spend that extra bit of cash on the rest of your system. Thank you AMD!

Cons: My MOBO doesn't have a 2nd cpu slot to drop another one of thes bad boys in.

Pros: It's a raptor. It screams and is perfect for pushing an O/S while rocking 12TB's in a storage raid 6 array. I don't hear any noise like some, but my case has dampening built into the sides kinda like the dynamat in my ride.

Pros: Running 8 gigs & screamin! No compatability issues with my MOBO. Can overclock the snot out of them or run em at 9-9-9-24 without a hitch. G. Skill is a company that actually looks at newegg reviews and responds to issues in the review forums. You rarely see a company that works for the consumer these days. Great work and thank you G. areca ARC-1220 PCI-Express x8 SATA II (3.0Gb/s) Controller Card

Pros: It's the Real Deal, not the Fake-A-Raid that comes on a motherboard. This card had zero conflicts with gear on my system. Instructions were detailed and easy to use. The config layouts are very user friendly. It makes for a pleasant Raid Array walkthrough. Speeds are great for a Raid 6 config. No Bios conflicts with booting Vista Ultimate and/or when booting into the raid bios. Nice product.
