Crucial M4 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: It worked for a year and a half...

Cons: After said year and a half, it began acting wonky, then, a couple days later, quit functioning altogether.

Other Thoughts: Crucial has been very unhelpful and so far blocked my efforts to engage the warranty.

2 out of 5 eggs Poor Quality - Degrades Quickly 01/21/2014

This review is from: Genius XScroll Black 1 x Wheel PS/2 Wired Optical 800 dpi Mouse

Pros: Not costly. Feels decent in the hand. Looks okay.

Cons: Within six months this mouse began to fall apart internally. Here are some examples:

Scrolling one direction unexpectedly scrolls the other direction for a tick or two. Occurs mostly when scrolling quickly.

Clicking occasionally causes a double click, or rarely no click, to occur.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I deserve these issues for buying such a cheap mouse. Maybe this is just to be expected.

Here's the thing. I didn't purchase this mouse expecting it to break in six months. For any other unsuspecting shoppers, this is your warning.

TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Looks good and works well. The cable and adjustable antenna allows it to be optimally positioned for maximum signal. The signal itself is fast and even. Doesn't require complex setup, even in Linux.

Cons: Acts finicky with Linux sometimes.

Other Thoughts: I use Arch, which updates very rapidly. Newer versions of the Kernel seem to be intermittently interacting negatively. I'm working on narrowing down the issue.
