Overall Review: When I first got this router I updated my firmware right away, configured it.... then started to experience very weird performance issues. After doing some research, I saw that some people got around these slowdowns by downgrading the firmware. So, that's what I did. I went from the latest down to 1.0.2.164_1.0.15 and my router started to work flawlessly, consistently giving me the max speed of my internet connection at (125MBPs).

Pros: Nice UI A lot of features

Cons: Poor and inconsistent performance Slow reboot / config change times

Overall Review: I had high expectations for this router. I was disappointed. The connection speeds of my unit are very flakey. I am running the latest firmware, and had multiple exchanges with customer support. I tried all different settings for QoS and various other tweaks to see if anything made an impact. Nope. I would very frequently see flakey speeds and pings in the range of 1-6MBPs while my connections supports 120MBPs - and is smooth as butter when I connect directly to my cable modem and not through the router. Trying to play games or using an SSH terminal through the router is a nightmare with constant slowdowns and ping surges all the way up to 2000MS. Very disappointed. Requested an RMA today.

Pros: Decent form-factor, reasonable price point for the performance/components - at $629 it's a pretty solid deal.

Cons: First unit was defective (N key worked about half the time). Had to exchange as an RMA. Way too much bloatware. I don't like how the keyboard lighting is set up. Too much bleed-through between the keys makes for a very funky looking keyboard. The touch pad is activated when I'm just typing sometimes, pretty annoying. It also doesn't work in multi-touch scenarios, so sometimes if I have one finger or a part of my palm on the pad and try to use my other finger to move the pointer, it doesn't work. Did I mention the massive amount of bloatware? It also doesn't come with a windows install disc which is pretty annoying.

Overall Review: Frankly, I wish I'd gone with a different laptop.

Pros: Easy install, cheap compared to other liquid cooling solutions.

Cons: One of the bolts for mounting it was threaded badly and was unusable. Apparently others had the same problem. My initial jury rig fix was a zip-tie. Now I am using a bolt from a hardware store as a replacement (which is a major upgrade from the zip-tie). Still waiting on corsair to get back to me on sending me the replacement part. The temperature performance is OK thus far... will likely get better once I use all OEM parts for mounting. I am running a 2600k overclocked to 4.0GHz right now. Under load I am getting a max of 60c. ~30c idle.

Overall Review: 2600K MSI GD65

Pros: Relatively cheap liquid cooling system, all-in one unit

Cons: The quality seemed low. One of the mounting bolts wasn't threaded properly, couldn't screw it into the retention plate. Had to improvise with some jury rigging... going to request a replacement part from Corsair (wish me luck).

Overall Review: The temps I am seeing are not very impressive. This could be due to my semi-botched mounting which is currently missing one of the proper bolts and is zip-tied into place. I am running a 2600k OC'ed to 4.0GHz. Using a single pull fan on the heat sink. Currently I am getting 40C at idle and around 80C under load, which isn't terrific by any means.
