Pros: - newegg automatically offered to ship me the AM4 bracket with my cooler for like 50cents extra since it saw I had a AM4 CPU in my shopping cart.
Cons: - if you order directly from Cryorig, I believe the bracket is totally free. But at least newegg only charged me 50cents extra on my order and I didn't have to fill out a bunch of paperwork for Cryorig to send me one.
Overall Review: installed perfectly. no issues.
perfect cooler for AM4
Pros: - a cooler that isn't ugly! WOW! - no worries about RAM clearance, it doesn't block the ram slots at all. - super quiet and keeps things cool - shorter than the 212evo fan everyone always buys. 212evo is too tall for most cases. - newegg automatically offered to ship me the AM4 bracket with my cooler for like 50cents extra since it saw I had a AM4 CPU in my shopping cart.
Cons: - can be tricky to install. My case does have a cutout for installing the backplate on the motherboard, however I like to do an out-of-case initial test of all my components before I screw the motherboard into the case. Basically, I tipped the motherboard onto its side and rested the cooler on the cooler box so I could hold the cooler and the backplate in place at the same time and still screw in the screws. It wasn't too bad, but it does take some unconventional methods.
Overall Review: will definitely buy again
sexy psu
Pros: - super quiet - so many cables. I still have tons left in the box. - the packaging is gorgeous. lol I love pretty boxes and packaging. Beautiful packaging can make anything look sexy.
Cons: none
Overall Review: would buy again
great monitor, great price!
Pros: - arrived in mint condition and crystal-clear display quality - no problems with AMD RX580 graphics card and Windows 10 scaling - didn't have to install any drivers. it worked perfectly out of the box with zero adjustments. - love that the screen came with a displayport cable and HMDI cable. very useful and convenient.
Cons: - sucks that it doesn't have VESA mount holes and a way to remove the stand. But I knew that before I bought it, so no worries. - Windows 10 does have a bug with displayport, where it resizes all open windows to the top left corner every time you turn off and on the monitor. But this is a known Windows 10 bug with many large monitors using displayport having this issue. I switched to HDMI 2.0 instead and it now works fine. If you never turn off your monitor like me, and just use a screensaver instead, then displayport works fine.
Overall Review: Most affordable and reasonable 4k monitor
Gorgeous case!
Pros: - arrived in mint condition and very high quality material case. - yes, the case is super-heavy, but at least that means good quality. - fans are super-quiet, even on the high setting. - beautiful, vivid colors and light. - This is a Mid-Tower case? It's HUGE! - You CAN turn off the LED lights so you can sleep at night! Just press and hold the button on the case to turn them off. There's also a switch for "HIGH, LOW, OFF" fan speed settings.
Cons: - extremely poor documentation - comes with lots of screws! but they're all in one bag so its up to you to figure out which ones to use - I like the brackets on the backside for the harddrives, but I wish they were further inside the case. When you plug in the harddrives, you really have to squish the harddrives power cable to get the glass side back on the case. There just isn't enough room for the power cable to stick out from the harddrives and still have the glass side on the case.
Overall Review: So far, this is my favorite case of all time.
so far so good!
Pros: My prebuilt system came with similar RAM cards of 4 x 2GB = 8GB total, so I replaced them with these Ripjaws cards of 4 x 4GB which maxes out the mobo at 16GB. I picked these cards because they had the same timing and frequency and everything as my old cards. I wanted to make sure they'd be compatible with the mobo since it's a prebuilt system and I don't know what mobo they used. As a female, I can say these RAM cards are very stylish and pretty in red. :) I'll update this review if the cards ever fail or have issues.
Cons: none so far
