Linksys WRT150N-RM Wireless-N Home Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft

4 out of 5 eggs Works great if you flash to DD-WRT 01/24/2009

This review is from: Linksys WRT150N-RM Wireless-N Home Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft

Pros: Works reliably, fast wireless speeds. Haven't had the need to reset it yet in three weeks of heavy use. Great range, as well.

Cons: The stock Linksys firmware isn't very good. If you're a nerd, get this router and flash it with DD-WRT firmware. If you aren't a nerd, get something a little more user-friendly out of the box.

5 out of 5 eggs Excellent product 10/11/2006

This review is from: macally PHR-250CC Aluminum 2.5" IDE USB & 1394 External Enclosure

Pros: Easy to assemble, sturdy, works great

Cons: Larger than most 2.5" enclosures i've worked with

Other Thoughts: Larger than the average enclosure, but still compact. Works great. Other reviews said they had trouble fitting their drive in; if you follow the picture in the instructions and slide it in the right way, it fits great.

5 out of 5 eggs Great reception, perfect for wardriving 09/30/2004

This review is from: XTERASYS XN-2122 B Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b USB 1.1 Up to 11Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use this card on my desktop for general connectivity and my laptop for wardriving. It works great in both situations. Reception is better than my Orinoco PCMCIA card with 7 dbi antenna attatched, so that's saying quite a lot. No problems using it with Netstumbler 0.4 in Windows XP either. Installation is simple and quick. The manual is a little short, but if you're familiar with networking already, there's really nothing that you can't figure out on your own.
