4XEM Apple Original Earphones with Remote and Mic for iPhone/iPod/iPad

5 out of 5 eggs Pretty good headphones! 01/10/2014

This review is from: 4XEM Apple Original Earphones with Remote and Mic for iPhone/iPod/iPad

Pros: The headphones has a bit more treble and a bit less of bass by comparison to... you know what. However treble makes the voice more clearer when making calls, and to hear less bass you'd need to have 'musicans ear'. Considering the price you can't go wrong with this! I'm happy with this purchase.

Cons: It'll be a waste of time to write anything in here.

Rosewill R4i - 3-Foot Charge & Sync USB-to-30-Pin Cable Connector with LED Indicator for Apple Devices

Pros: It works as described.

Cons: None technically. The LED might be a bit annoying but it's not really a big problem to me.

6ft 1.8 Meter Thunderbolt Port Mini Display Port DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Cable For Macbook Air Macbook Pro

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I'm actually liking the fact that all of it is one whole cable.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I've been using this product for over 3 months and it works great! I'm using in on my MBP 17 and connecting it to asus 24. I heard from others where people have problems connecting to external monitors on MBP's and it's a known problem, however you need to find what works for you. For me it always works when I bootup to Mac OS X, wait till everything loads (after login) and then plug in the cable. A lot of times it won't work when you plug it into the MBP before powering it on. Different macs/monitors different issues and ways to work around them.
